Jeff Evely: Veterans shouldn't have to compete for recognition As Pride crosswalks across Canada continue to divide Canadians, new crosswalks honouring veterans — a joint venture between the Legion and local municipalities — may now serve to unite them. On Friday’s Rebel Roundtable livestream, Drea Humphrey and Tamara Lich...

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE FLORIDA — Veterans for America First (VFAF) is proud to endorse Congressman Cory Mills for reelection to represent Florida’s 7th Congressional District in the 2026 election. Website: There are political endorsements, and then there are endorsements that are personal. For me, endorsing Congressman Cory Mills is personal. I have spent much of my life serving alongside veterans and, today, working to make sure the men and women who wore our nation’s uniform have someone willing to stand beside them when they need help. Over the years, I have met plenty of elected officials who talk about supporting our veterans. Cory Mills is one of those leaders who backs those words with action. Cory is a United States Army combat veteran and Bronze Star recipient who understands firsthand what service and sacrifice mean. What has impressed me most, however, is what Cory continues to do for veterans after taking off the uniform. When veterans need someone in their corner, Cory is there. He understands that supporting our veterans and our military cannot simply be a campaign slogan or something recognized once a year on Veterans Day. It requires action, commitment, and a willingness to fight for the men and women who fought for this country. I have personally witnessed Cory’s commitment to veterans, and that means more to me than any political talking point ever could. Cory is tough, outspoken, and unapologetic about standing up for America’s military, our veterans, and the men and women who continue to defend this nation. He understands the warrior mentality because he has lived it. More importantly, I consider Cory an outstanding man. He cares deeply about this country, respects those who have served it, and is willing to stand his ground and fight for what he believes is right. That is why I am proud, both personally and on behalf of Veterans for America First, to give Congressman Cory Mills my full endorsement for Florida’s 7th Congressional District in 2026. Our veterans deserve leaders who do more than thank them for their service. They deserve leaders who stand with them when it matters. Cory Mills is one of those leaders. SHARE THIS EVERYWHERE! 🔥🔥🔥 Veteran Carl Higbie completely DEMOLISHES Harris’ pick, Tim Walz, for his STOLEN VALOR and REFUSAL to vote in favor of VETERANS. “He has particularly angered veterans like me with previous claims servicing that he actually went to war. This is the cardinal sin among veterans: to claim military service that you did not do. It’s so verifiable that I’m beside myself that someone would say they went to war when they didn’t, especially when guys like him got out of the military because they were being called to war. Don’t lecture me about service, Tim. You got a military paycheck for 24 years to prepare for war, and the second they called your name, you dipped out. You joined the military, but then when you were called to do the one thing—the one thing the military trained you to do and counted on you doing, which is go to war—you bailed, Tim Waltz. Just like you bailed on supporting our veterans when you were in Congress. One of Tim’s former colleagues weighed in on this yesterday. Representative Jim Banks said on Twitter, “I served my first two years in Congress with Tim Waltz on the House Veterans Committee. Waltz opposed the most important veteran legislation passed in decades just because it was President Trump’s. The Mission Act was very bipartisan, but Waltz opposed giving our veterans better access to healthcare because he didn’t want to give President Trump a win.” Wow, wow! This tells you everything you need to know about this guy.”

Anyone who has been following me on X knows that I respect and consider Dan Wooton to be one of the finest journalists and have supported him from the beginning. While watching his episode today that I just shared I was brought to tears. I am the daughter of a Canadian Air Force Veteran. I have donated and volunteered at our Canadian Legion for over 30 years. I have attended Remembrance Day events since a very small child. November 11 is our commemorative day to remember our fallen soldiers. In brief Prince Harry is in Canada this week to mark and pay his respects to fallen soldiers. This would have been planed long ago. His PR team should have announced the trip to Canada a month ago. The fact they didn’t is disrespectful to Canada and our Veterans because our Remembrance Day has been caught in the middle of the Prince Harry and Prince William battle of the brothers. I put this 100 percent on Prince Harry for not being respectful of our commemorative week. I am more upset by Nancy Sidley’s comments in the video where she lacks the knowledge that this is our Remembrance commemorative week and says it’s shameful for Prince Harry to be wearing a poppy which is so sacred to the people of the UK. Time and time again I have watched their channel and have been very upset by the things they say which shows their lack of knowledge about UK, Canada, politics but somehow people believe them because they are on YouTube. This insult to Canadians and two Canadian organizations and one British organization is NOT acceptable. As a person who has dedicated my life to raising money for my own charities as well as others disrespecting organizations is NOT acceptable. Before you made them sound like tiny operations you should have done your research. 1. Halo organization based out of UK removes land mines. Princess Diana was involved with them. 2. True Patriot Love Foundation was the charitable arm for the Invictus Games that raised money for veterans mental health. 3. The Sunnybrook Science Centre in Canada is in one of the best hospitals in the world. You didn’t say directly but you made it sound that in your opinion they weren’t worth supporting. Serious disrespect was shown to Canadians today! I am putting screen shots of the charities in comments. Posting to the attention of Dan Wootton and Stephanie Stephanie Sidley and Nancy Nancy Sidley Canadians take November 11 very serious and our friends in the UK recognize our commemorative day with great respect.

As you know, I’ve spent most of the last decade fighting for better rights and a better deal for UK Veterans. I’m really proud of what we achieved. But I always wanted to achieve more. Much more. I do not accept that veterans are a charity - now even more so than when I made my maiden speech to Parliament ten years ago. I want veterans to access the very best opportunities and services - when they want, how they want to, in a way in which they feel most comfortable, using class-leading technologies. I’m excited to say I’ve been working closely with Alfie from Fill Your Boots (I know, right?!), Ben the CEO of Forces Horizon, and a whole load of other partners who I thought were particularly impressive from my time in office, to fix the issues we still face using the power of innovative tech and artificial intelligence. VeteranX is the result. VeteranX is a UK Tech company founded by Alfie and myself which is building the world’s most comprehensive AI powered platform for veterans, fusing the most powerful large language models and the best datasets on military skills and what they mean for employment after service, together with the most complete integration of third-party resources (Government and Charity), to produce the best global Veteran user experience right here in the UK. It’s for everyone - I’m tired of the competitive nature of the veterans care sector, that still leaves too many out in the cold. It’s for employers who want to access to better talent, faster, and in a much more efficient manner that reduces reliance on a ‘who you know’ network. It’s for charities who need help targeting those who would most benefit from their services. It’s for veteran-focused community interested groups who need better technical and data support to operate in the sector. But above all of these groups, it is shamelessly for the Veteran and their family. I still spend many hours a week answering emails, or hearing from people coming over in the pub, asking how they access services that I know are out there and that I know will make them better, or get them that opportunity they want after service. I know the same is for Alfie, and others like him. I want to build a platform to take the strain; that we can all work on and all be part of, in an endless pursuit of world class veterans care that we know is out there, but is too often too difficult to find or mired in bureaucracy and competition. Have a look. Let me know what you think. It’s for you, after all.
