My idea -@rolfmeissler -of the future: The idea that a society of specialized artificial intelligences (AIs) could work together to form a kind of general artificial intelligence (AGI) is a fascinating concept. Instead of a single, monolithic AGI, many specialized AIs focused on different areas or tasks could interact and cooperate to solve complex problems. This "social" structure of AIs could have greater flexibility, adaptability and robustness against errors. In such a system, the individual AIs could act as members of a society, with each AI having its own "role" or specialization. Through communication and collaboration, they could develop collective intelligence and decision-making, similar to specialized organs in an organism or professionals in a society. This approach could also influence the ethical and security challenges of developing an AGI. Instead of developing a single, omnipotent AI, a society of AIs could offer a more decentralized and possibly more controllable form of intelligence. What do YOU think?
