Maharashtra Fast-Tracks Industrial Growth with Bold Reforms🚀 Chaired the Ease of Doing Business War Room Meeting in Mumbai today, reaffirming Maharashtra’s commitment to remain the top destination for foreign direct investment and to swiftly convert these investments into thriving industries. Directed the administration to reduce the number of permissions required, ensuring that new entrepreneurs save valuable time and resources. To strengthen investor confidence, the Urban Development Department has been tasked with developing an AI-driven online system for building construction permissions. Under this model, once applications are submitted as per norms, documents will be verified automatically, and permissions granted seamlessly, eliminating delays and ensuring speed. Further reforms include the creation of a single-window mechanism for industrial approvals, exemption of multiple permissions for industries under the green pollution category for a specified period, and decentralising many permissions to the district level for faster processing. These measures will significantly cut red tape and simplify compliance. By eliminating obstacles and creating a truly industry-friendly ecosystem, Maharashtra is building an environment where entrepreneurs can focus on innovation and growth rather than navigating bureaucracy. With seriousness in implementation and proactive reforms, the State will continue to attract large-scale investment, accelerate industrial growth, and progress steadily towards the vision of becoming India’s first $1 trillion sub-national economy. #EaseOfDoingBusiness #InvestInMaharashtra #IndustrialGrowth

The current state of roads in Bangalore, the Silicon Valley of India, is nothing short of alarming. Despite citizens paying hefty road taxes, the city’s infrastructure, particularly its roads, is riddled with massive potholes and craters, making daily commuting a nightmare. The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP), the governing body responsible for maintaining the city's infrastructure, seems to be in a state of perpetual slumber, unable to address this critical issue due to sheer negligence and inefficiency. Is this truly the vision we had for "Brand Bengaluru"? A city that aspires to be a global tech hub, yet struggles with basic road maintenance? Instead of smooth, well-maintained streets that reflect the city's reputation as a leading IT capital, we have roads that resemble the surface of the moon. Such a situation not only tarnishes the city's image but also poses serious safety hazards to its residents, leading to accidents and injuries. The question that arises is: how long will the authorities remain indifferent to the plight of the people? Bengaluru deserves better, and it’s high time that proper accountability and immediate action are enforced to restore the city’s infrastructure to its deserved standard. Joint CP, Traffic, Bengaluru S.
