Thanks for this. As a former tomboy and short haired I often get mistaken for a man. Mostly they apologize profusely, and I’m like no worries 😌. I’d rather not be mistaken for a bloke but when it does happen it’s not a big deal.

It’s happened to me a fair amount of times and I’m not even ‘butch’. I am however a 6’, short haired, thick built straight tomboy, and just like yourself I get the same reactions when other women realise they were mistaken. It’s ok, I get it! And we didn’t die.
