Just did a full tutorial on this wire generator using geo nodes. Used this a lot in the last render and it’s pretty easy to setup. (Also a free download on it if you want) #b3d

geo nodes making procedural wire setups look way more reusable than the usual blender spaghetti, free downloads like this are actually clutch for workflow @maxhayart follow back appreciated fr

#b3d real-time compositer nodes. You know just and idea but could be cool if a lot more vectormath nodes were exposed in compositer. And some day all the render passes would work. A lot of things could be done without huge render times or need for object domain shaders. Blender 🔶

Starting to block in details on the outfit. Experimenting with the laces node group by @BeltMakerTool. Combining it with my own wrap setup to easily control the placement on the sleeve. And a geo nodes attribute for line thickness! #b3d #blender

Built a simple flare generator in IlluGen today. Really fun to play around with the procedural nature of the tool and just make some cool things! Infinite variations and really easy to find something to leap off of quickly. If you want to give the generator a shot in IlluGen, feel free to download it here:

Qullamaggie on If You Can't Draw a Triangle, It's Not a Good Setup “This thing had some pretty good setups down here. Had a breakout here, but it was kind of red candle on that breakout day, so that kind of ruined it. But yeah, it went straight up. Yeah. I mean, you know, obviously it’s too bad it closed near the lows this day. But if you ignore this day, just look at the setup quality. This is what you wanna look at, okay? Just make a habit of drawing these triangles, okay? If you can’t draw a triangle, the setup is sh*t. If there is not a range and higher lows, the setup is sh*t; it’s easy as that, move on.”

Just found out a tutorial of a Geo Nodes setup for automatic Tension Maps! Since it compares the rest pose with the deformations, I don't have to set up any drivers or math, it just works. I just need to improve the wrinkle map itself. Tutorial next tweet

From AI imagination to GPU acceleration - this new tutorial shows how to build a full Astro Zombie Horde from a single image to final render.🧟‍♂️ Using AI tools on the front end and the The Render Network on the back, the entire pipeline comes together in hours - not days. Watch the full breakdown:

This was honestly just better than the change to deactivate the generator in remake. It played with a game mechanic you used to survive and turned it into a weapon to halt the rings activation. Pretty damn cool

Qullamaggie on The Survival Rate of Traders “I used to tell you only 10% of you would make it? I would say it’s probably less. The survival rate with active traders over say a 3-5 year period, it’s pretty low. It’s pretty low. Because to be a successful trader and you know not blow up, to beat the market many years over a long time, not only is there a lot of things you must stop doing wrong, there’s also a lot of things you must start doing correctly. And a lot of people just never piece it all together. There’s just so many moving parts, and you always have to adapt. I think learning setups is easy. You spend a few hundred hours on a specific setup, you will be pretty good at that setup. Entries, exits very easy. Like, it’s very simple; it’s not rocket science. Position sizing, risk management. These are easy things. The hard things are like knowing when to trade that specific setup aggressively, and when to take a step back. That’s really hard. And that’s really one of the few things I still struggle with. Even after 10 years, 11 years of trading. And also adapting - like you know this constant adapting to the markets. That’s usually what gets people in the long run. They just can’t keep up; they get sloppy and, yeah.”

#b3d tip: The Modeling Cloth add-on adds a lot of functionality for working with cloth objects. For example, you can grab the cloth object and manipulate it while it’s being simulated. I spent the last few hours working on this and I think I paid around $250 just to render it 😂 But honestly, I think it turned out pretty fun. Gamdom.com Steve Will Do It CODE “steve” on GAMDOM I’m using Steve’s code on Gamdom and I really want to start live streaming. I know this is something you can make happen, but I also know I need to ask first. I really hope I can finally have a conversation with Steve about this. This could be the first step toward a new opportunity and a new chapter for me. Much love to you guys ❤️
