#b3d real-time compositer nodes. You know just and idea but could be cool if a lot more vectormath nodes were exposed in compositer. And some day all the render passes would work. A lot of things could be done without huge render times or need for object domain shaders. Blender 🔶

Built a simple flare generator in IlluGen today. Really fun to play around with the procedural nature of the tool and just make some cool things! Had a breakout here, but it was kind of red candle on that breakout day, so that kind of ruined it. But yeah, it went straight up. Yeah. I mean, you know, obviously it’s too bad it closed near the lows this day. But if you ignore this day, just look at the setup quality. This is what you wanna look at, okay? The survival rate with active traders over say a 3-5 year period, it’s pretty low. It’s pretty low. Because to be a successful trader and you know not blow up, to beat the market many years over a long time, not only is there a lot of things you must stop doing wrong, there’s also a lot of things you must start doing correctly. And a lot of people just never piece it all together. There’s just so many moving parts, and you always have to adapt. I think learning setups is easy. You spend a few hundred hours on a specific setup, you will be pretty good at that setup. Entries, exits very easy. Like, it’s very simple; it’s not rocket science. Position sizing, risk management. These are easy things. The hard things are like knowing when to trade that specific setup aggressively, and when to take a step back. That’s really hard. And that’s really one of the few things I still struggle with. Even after 10 years, 11 years of trading. And also adapting - like you know this constant adapting to the markets. That’s usually what gets people in the long run. They just can’t keep up; they get sloppy and, yeah.”
