if quantum computers can hack Bitcoin your 4-digit pin is done for. 😂

Uh… what happens to bank accounts and securities accounts. Pensions? You don’t think quantum won’t attack that first… and more!

Why attack a 1.6 trillion dollar asset class with so many other options worth $100s of trillions? And wouldn’t we upgrade our Nodes as we go along to prevent a hack? There is so many other larger pies to go after! Why attack Bitcoin?

Ridiculous, $BTC being hacked by Quantum is the last thing anyone has to worry about. By the time Quantum has that capability every single financial vehicle will have been destroyed by it and the world will already be f'ed.

Who deployed the bots to deflect? Yes other systems need to upgrade... and they are doing so. Why does btc community argue- just fix it. Either way, only @QANplatform is building solutions with enterprise adoption. Look where the market will be, not where it was...

Why can't quantum just hack everyone's bank accounts with a 4 digit pin and drain everyone's retirement accounts? Bitcoin is way more secure

Hmmmm, let’s see I have the ability to hack bitcoin (consisting of about 0.5 % of all assets) or do I use the same technology to drain portions of the 99.5% of remaining assets also at risk?????

The globalists own IBM and this is Globalist Fear operation because the financial system the London elite setup is falling. The Federal Reserve wasn't ever an American Institution it was a London Imperialist one with the bankster cartels of Europe and America. Destroy them.

IBM sells quantum computers. IBM goes on Fox News to say quantum computers will destroy crypto. IBM also sells “quantum-safe” encryption solutions. This is not a warning. This is a sales pitch wearing a Halloween costume. Bitcoin devs have known about this for a decade and are already working on post-quantum upgrades. The “doomsday” has a snooze button.

Which would crash the value of bitcoin rendering it a pointless endeavor.

If Qutuam can break Bitcoin, it is WW3. Every nation will Qutuam-hack every other nation's defense system. Nukes flying into different directions. Explosions everywhere. Banking systems hacked. Every currency collapses. And you are worried about Bitcoin. 😆

Couldn't they also breach Banks, WallStreet and even hack into the "Dept of War" and anything on the internet?

Yawn. This guy just wants you to sell so he can buy more. If such tech exists, Bitcoin is the least of our worries. Every corp will be hacked.

the nuance these clips drop: a quantum attack wouldn't hit bitcoin uniformly. the exposure sits on coins whose public key is already visible on-chain, so old p2pk outputs and reused addresses. coins in an address that has never spent are behind a hash, not a raw pubkey.

theoretical risk but actual impact nowhere near what hype suggests quantum threat takes decades to materialize

Ummm. What about the nuclear launch codes ? Data centers ? Military defense systems ? Communication and cell phone systems ? A little more relevant than bitcoin.

If this happens; existing banks, stocks, bonds and similar assets should be considered first because they are not as safe and secure as BTC. So we should know who should be worried first. The message should be directed at them not BTC

IBM’s warning is valid — but “crypto doomsday” isn’t inevitable.@KrownNetwork already launched a natively quantum-secured L1, and their @QastleWallet (powered by @QEM_Corp ’s QRNG technology) is live right now as the first quantum-secure hot wallet. The tools exist. The only real risk is waiting too long to use them.

Lol...That means it can easily easily hack into all the banking and financing systems!!!Even WallStreet!!!..Stop Fudding Bitcoin!!!.I can bet on my life that Bitcoin is Quantum resistant and if not it can easily be upgraded..

This is so stoopid! If QC happens, all the Banks will be drained first. Much lower hanging fruit than BTC Keys FFS!

Quantum computing is a real challenge for all modern cryptography, not just Bitcoin. The advantage of open-source networks is they can upgrade long before the threat becomes practical.

I would be a bit more worried about the stock market, the treasury, the nuclear codes, the infrastructure and on and on, then worry about BTC. Faux news are a blood sucking FUD spreading network, fk you all

And drain the money in all the bank accounts too as well as stock certificates I assume. All gone in a blink. Fun times ahead.

Banks will require a fraction of that power to be hacked. It’s FUD from another tech dinosaur.

I wrote the book on successful speculation and investing at the cutting edge of science & technology. Of course, IBM is going to promote these ludicrous ideas. QUANTUM COMPUTING is the Brazil of technology. It is the next big thing, and it ALWAYS WILL BE. I've been a close observer of this tech since 1993 - and it has been arriving "within 40 years," and it still is. The science is perfectly fine. The engineering to make ONE, much less the ability to manufacture commercially, dozens, error free - decades away, if ever. Get a clue!
