Do you use your own engine or it's another chrome wrapper?

I love Helium, but the fact it's based on ungoogled chrome makes it inherently unsafe over other options. Would be nice to see the team grow and create an actual chromium fork that keeps itself up to date.

This is not a viable solution as long as automatic updates do not work on Windows, unfortunately :(

ive been using a old ass version of helium in my windows 10 vm and i wanted to try a newer version this is probably a chromium feature but i love how i can set my favorite image as my new tab page

I've not tried hellium since a few weeks ago (honestly I have an annoying visual bug with every chromium based app including electron-based ones, but still wanted to try it), can you copy the "mute tab" feature exactly as it is on Firefox? (NOT mute site)

I have Helium to use for some work related stuff, but I can't really make it my main browser The lack of vertical tabs is a dealbreaker to me, also, I had problems on Helium when watching The Game Awards live, the stream kept freezing, I switched back to Floorp and it worked fine

I love Helium. Been using it since it came out, but I got two “issues” that have been bugging me. Why can I not save passwords like I can in Chrome, and why am I not able to watch movies? It’s kinda annoying and have made me start thinking if I should switch.

I would but A) my main system has issues with all Chromium browsers for some reason (random flickering and garbage on screen) and B) I'm lazy as shit

After Firefox bricked my profile yesterday and I Iost all of my logins/cookies I finally decided to make the switch fr. I did try Vivaldi before but wow I do like the no bullshit approach with helium. Nice job wukko ❤️ (when official android build?)
