Just stumbled on this fun little setup: linking three nulls to the position and size of an Ellipse shape layer in After Effects, and it can stretch a circle in multiple directions.

I can't believe my eyes! I compared Cavalry render speed to After effects and this happened: forget about that Cavalry rendered a complicated Motion graphic piece without a single lag and very minimal Layer usage that would take a ton of work in after effects, but when I RENDERED animation and gave it to After effects It had a problem playing the RENDERED MP4 VIDEO! and during that it used more ram to play a normal video than Cavalry to just play the raw project file with all the layers and effects. this is just crazy. we might be witnessing a new era of motion design.

I fumbled a bit here but I just like how the Type 38 sounded like in this clip. The rifle and its internals were all coated in a very fine layer of dust after an event so extraction needed some force. Also quite comfortable to shoot in a prone position.

you can easily paint in sculpted folds in Substance painter by using the following setup: (the Sculpted Folds folder) New layer with just height info. Paint effect in the black mask to paint where you want the folds. Blur Directions to create the falloff. Blur to soften it all.

After being hit with a missile, how long do we think a missile sized hole would cause a balloon to deflate? Even if it's compartmented, this was a direct hit. This object seems to continue on with a very consistent size and shape after impact. Why no loss in size or apparent shape change? It should elongate in the vertical access as it falls to the earth as it depressurizes and more material becomes available to act as a flag.
