Cervical Cancer म्हणजे गर्भाशयाच्या मुखाचा कॅन्सर हा भारतातील महिलांमध्ये आढळणाऱ्या कॅन्सरपैकी दुसऱ्या क्रमांकाचा गंभीर आजार आहे. याचे मुख्य कारण Human Papillomavirus (HPV) या विषाणूचा दीर्घकाळ संसर्ग असून सुमारे ९९.७% प्रकरणांमध्ये तो कारणीभूत ठरतो. या आजाराच्या निर्मूलनासाठी लवकर निदान, उपचार आणि HPV विरोधी लसीकरण अत्यंत महत्त्वाचे आहे. Gardasil-4 ही लस सुरक्षित आणि प्रभावी असून जगभरात मोठ्या प्रमाणावर वापरली जाते. गोरगरिब कुटुंबांतील मुलींनाही ही जीवनरक्षक लस मोफत मिळावी यासाठी मी खाजगी विधेयकाच्या माध्यमातून केंद्र सरकारकडे ठाम मागणी केली होती. महाराष्ट्रात ८ मार्चपासून HPV लसीकरण मोहीम सुरू झाली असून १४ वर्षे पूर्ण पण १५ वर्षे न झालेल्या मुलींना ही लस सरकारी रुग्णालयांमध्ये उपलब्ध आहे. मी स्वतः माझ्या मुलीला ही HPV लस दिलेली आहे. सर्व पालकांना विनंती आहे की कोणत्याही अफवांना बळी न पडता आपल्या मुलींना ही लस अवश्य द्यावी. योग्य वेळी घेतलेला हा निर्णय भविष्यातील कॅन्सरपासून संरक्षण देऊ शकतो. #hpv #vaccine HPV vaccine India, Cervical cancer awareness, Gardasil vaccine, Women health India, HPV vaccination Maharashtra, Cancer prevention vaccine, Government vaccination scheme, Free HPV vaccine, Girls health awareness, Cancer prevention India
