the fundamental issue with Jaylen Brown's scoring process is that it's purely contingent on whether the ball goes in and it really does nothing to bend defenses in any meaningful way; the ball did go in a few times in the 4th to make it look like JB was dragging the Celtics back into the game but it was about as good as it got for essentially the entirety of the game, Sixers were happy to drop super deep and guard JB 1-on-1, there was no need to gap, the wing defenders could just stick to the shooters and if the ball goes in, well, you just kind of move on because it happens from time to time. For this process to work out in your favour JB would probably need to be closer to 70% ts, 55% just ain't it that's basically creating two parallel offensive processes, it's detrimental for Boston in most situations, except for maybe when JB gets switched onto Maxey

Some have brought up topics from my recent Fleetwood posts. So I thought I would address them here. Two parts to this video. 1st illustrates that his tailbone moves towards the target in backswing. 2nd highlights the left femur action. Slide baby slide! Average tour payers slides 4 to 6.2” towards target at impact and a total of 6.4 to 9.6” at finish. Watch his tailbone in relation to green line. It works exactly like tour average. If you moves through the green line late in backswing, you might find yourself in a difficult position to move enough forward in downswing. Start that linear action earlier in your swing. Watch his right hip moving back and around trail foot. It gaps out very nicely! Personally I like to see some gapping happening. If you want a number, lets say 1-2” of gapping is ok. On left femur… personally I like seeing lead foot flared out for majority of golfers. You can see how much travel his leg has. I don’t really like seeing left femur move past vertical to ground. I do like seeing the knee get outside of ankle and hip by the time P5 happens. So many great things can happen from here.

Pendulum squat tips ⬇️ 1) Foot stance will be individual…too high and you’ll pull in too much glutes…too low and your knees won’t be happy. Find a middle ground that allows you to be powerful and nail the quads with enough knee flexion. 2) Prefer a “toes forward” approach on this one to stack the knees/ankles in alignment to work with the arch of the pendulum itself. 3) Imagine “pulling yourself” into the bottom position with your quads here with enough control to nail the actual quads themselves. 4) Don’t camp out at the top excessively and turn it into a “rest pause” set. Keep the flow of your reps consistent to standardise things. 5) Pick a weight that allows you to fail in that 8-15 zone…find your nuts and take the set all the way (will likely feel heavy from rep 3/4 haha) Petition to rename this exercise “The Humbler” Make use if you have access.
