That's how you understand laws! Trace the public law back to establish the source of the delegated Authority, then trace it back to find the Constitutional violation or delegated authority. We have a limited form of government, it's not supposed to do anything not delegated to it. That delegation REQUIRES an Article V amendment to alter.

Another good question is, "Why do GOA spokespersons keep making statements that such-n-such is "an infringement on the 2nd Amendment?" They evidently wrongly think that the 2nd Amendment is *the right*, rather than a law that prohibits governmental infringement of the right. *The right* is actually something you have within you. God gave it to you. It's an unalienable part of your individual, fundamental humanity, part of who you are. Humans have had the right since the beginning of humanity. It's not the 2nd Amendment, and we didn't get it from the 2nd Amendment.

We didn't get here by accident. There was a concerned effort to remove Civics study from schools before I even started. I had to learn through other means. We ought to make a passing grade in an accredited Civics class mandatory for student loans, Oh! and running for office.
