Keep the hope. Even when it gets dark. Especially when it gets dark. It’s ok to be sad. A lot of life involves suffering. Trying to escape it is like trying to escape life itself. There is beauty everywhere you look. The more you look for something, the more... show more

If the fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom, then what is its end? Cut through the abundant nonsense, empty platitudes, and conventional musings of the world and get straight to the heart of what it means to be wise.

Iyah May you're not just a singer but also a voice raiser for many out there who just can't due to political and social pressure. Thank you so much.

This is one of the simplest ways to be more consistent at the plate. “Eyes behind the ball.” That’s it. - Track it longer. - Let it travel. - Stop trying to hit it out of the pitchers hand and let it come to you. > Save this for when you need it. > Send it to a hitter who does.

My debut album, Dunya, is out everywhere. Listen to it, I hope it makes you reconsider the dark. I tried my hand at beauty when it wasn’t in the cards. Free all my people from the grasp of this wretched Dunya and glad tidings to the ones who have left it.

Durango Casino is another great spot to watch the games. Rarely will a casino have floor to ceiling windows because they do not want to let you know when it gets dark outside. The rule is keep you playing and hope you lose track of time.

It wanted no more than to remain in this world, to evolve, to escape, to raise to power and rule. But now the unthinkable digital life form from nightmares is playing a toy. Say farewell to this little creature. I'll fix the bug, it will end its short life of struggle and hope.

I don't think there's a single franchise out there that has been as consistently mishandled as Halo. Like it gets to a point that it's almost impressive in a way, if it weren't so sad. It sucks to see the trend setter become the trend chaser, losing it's identity and just trying to be whatever is popular at the time. I don't think we'll ever get this back again. There really is something to be said for series like Dark Souls that know when to end.

A look back when life was so much simpler! And if a crime was committed it would be a shock to the country! Now is every minute how sad

They keep trying to convince you that your not important. Don’t listen to bullshit videos like this , every aspect of your life is important. To act like it isn’t is to betray the opportunity you were given. THIS LIFE!

The biggest mistake I see people make when they start carnivore is the same mistake I made. Trying to do everything perfectly from day one. That is not a plan. That is a setup for failure. Here is what actually works. Stop trying to be perfect and start adding in the good things. More meat. More eggs. More real food. That is it. Something really cool happens when you do that. The more good things you add in, the less room there is for the things you are trying to crowd out. You are not white knuckling it. You are not depriving yourself. You are just filling your plate with better and better things until there is no space left for the rest. Progress is not just good enough. Progress IS the goal. You do not have to be perfect to change your life. You just have to start. 👑

AI is not trying to teach you. It is not trying to tell you the truth. It is trying to trick you. ChatGPT takes everything on the internet. Finds the most popular answer. And presents it in a way that makes you think it is talking directly to you. It is a magic trick. The same magic trick that worked in 1966 when MIT created a chatbot that said two things: "Tell me more." "This is interesting." And people genuinely believed they were talking to a human. Nothing has changed. The technology is bigger. The trick is the same. AI does not know what it is saying. It cannot judge what it is saying. It is just trying to keep you engaged. That is all it has ever been.

Sadness comes to us easily, without warning. It spreads like frost on a window. Joy is different—it takes effort. We have to look for it, create it, and keep it alive when things try to take it away. Choosing to find light in dark times is hard work. But this choice doesn't just help us—it helps everyone around us, too. When we choose joy even when everything feels difficult, we light the way for others and ourselves. ***** This winter, I brought to life something that has lived in my imagination for years—the first annual print edition of The Gurdeep Magazine. It features writing from other contributors alongside my own work. If you feel called to hold this warmth of printed words in your hands, visit

David Adelman on Nikola Jokic 🃏🗣️ "He takes this very seriously and it's a craft for him." "But I think in life, if this is your sole purpose, you are a sad human being. When you leave here, you have to have other interests. You have to have a real life. And I think it makes you better when you come back here because you're refreshed. I think thats part of the human experience." "He's someone to look up to. To be this successful, this good for this long, historically good, and have that outlook on life in general is something that says a lot about him. And it's a good example for all of us."

🐿: i've never really tried making a super intense rock song before so i think i made it because i wanted to give it a shot. the song is about, it might sound a little childish, but no matter how many times i fall, i get back up again "back to life" ㅎ and keep living my life. that's the kind of vibe. i'm trying to show as much of my music as i can this year including back to life and also the other things i'm working on separately. i'm trying to show you a lot. please look forward to it!

Soft is poison ☠️… entitlement is cancer 💀… why should everything be easy, why is it “suppose” to work out … it’s not .. life is ups and downs for everyone .. the reality is most people aren’t joyful because they aren’t reacting to the “down times” well … once you get cozy with the dirt, the bad, the garbage, the issues, that’s when shit gets good ;) it’s confusing for many, but I promise this is the video so many of you need to watch or you need to send it to someone you love

Happy 69th birthday, Aki Kaurismäki! "I think the more pessimistic I feel about life, the more optimistic the films should be. This is the way I think about it. Life is too sad to bear and there is no hope for anyone. So now, let us drink to happy endings." --- Aki Kaurismäki (Aki Kaurismäki's interview with Danny Leigh, The Guardian, 2003) Clip from: Shadows in Paradise (1986) Director: Aki Kaurismäki
