I really like this innovative idea. So biodegradable packaging. Question is can it support heavy load when doing produce or grocery shopping?

Brilliant idea if adopted as a control mechanism. As a commercial venture however, hyacinth, as the raw product and source of income, may create a chaotic environmental and social crisis.

I wonder when the west would patent this and tell the world that they discovered it.

Plants have been turned into cellophane which looks exactly like plastic for over a century. This won't catch on for the same reason cellophane has never caught on It's more expensive to use cellophane than it is to use plastic and oil refineries which make plastic undercut it 🙄

He could also turn them into food because water hyacinths are quite edible and considered tasty if prepared, right?.

Here in SA, at haarties they don't know what to do with it and it's killing the ecosystem and the overall tourism of the geographical location of the country.
