Anyone who has followed the last 10 years of TN politics will know that it was always DMK that sets the narrative and all opposition spend all their time only in reacting. But once again Vijay has defeated DMK at their own game by taking the lead in setting a narrative and making DMK only react and respond endlessly. Vijay's TVK Govt is very clear at showing the TN media their place. For long, TN media have been in the payrolls of DMK and have been publishing news favouring DMK, irrespective of whether DMK was in power or not. Every single scam and corruption was exposed either by politicians like Annamalai (DMK files) or independent youtubers like Savukku. The media played absolutely no role in that. Vijay's TVK Govt came to power only with the people support and the entire media, political parties and business ecosystem was against Vijay. Even today the media reporters ask only irrelevant questions and readily publish newscards that is against TVK. Fact is there is no space for youngsters or members who have climbed up the hard way. Every district and constituency is under the control of a senior either through their family or network. It is always them who will be given the opportunities. DMK is setting a very weak narrative on a non-issue instead of focusing on any of the real people issues. Vijay is clear on being just a Chief Minister inside the assembly and not the head of TVK. He is calm and composed all the times, does what needs to be done, respects opposition's view points and acts on it then and there.
