The non-stop Live Transmission of Assembly proceedings is the biggest weapon that Vijay pulled to upset DMK and it was out of syllabus for them. Both DMK and ADMK would have thought that it was just another promise like they usually do and no one will have the guts to do it. To their surprise it is being done everyday and to their pain, it went a record 10 hours non-stop on 27 August. Both DMK and ADMK had made things so easy for Vijay that he keeps scoring with very basic executions day by day. What should have been a hygiene factor looks like an achievement because that is how bad both those parties were. The moment Vijay came to power, he included the parties that extended support for his government in the cabinet ministry. While this may sound so obvious, the fact that Congress, VCK etc were not given this opportunity for decades of being in alliance with both the parties has made Vijay look superior. Both the parties that spoke of social justice lost their faces there. Vijay came out and made a bold statement that no one should ask or give bribe in the Government sector and if anyone asks, people can outright reject stating Vijay's name. Plus he carried out some basic clean up operations in many departments to put an end to the commission practice. While this has not ended corruption totally and we do not know how successful this operation will be in 5 years time, he has the image of being the Champion of ant-corruption campaign in TN for the first time. No one stopped the other two parties from doing this. But they were so comfortable in running a corrupt system that benefits them and their ministers too. Today people are celebrating the live telecast of assembly sessions everyday. This is infact the electoral promise of both the parties in the past but they never executed. This is not even a technical challenge. All it takes is the intent to make the sessions transparent and Vijay simply had to do that. By doing this, it is not just the majority of DMK MLAs who are getting exposed, even a few TVK ministers' activities are being questioned. But Vijay is ok with that and he is bold enough to do this. Uttar Pradesh has leaped forward in growth across various sectors in the last few years due to their ZERO TOLERANCE on law & order issues. That is the root cause of all the problems. Today the Singa Penn task force has certainly shown serious intent by TVK in dealing with law & order issues that has doomed the state. Not many discussed about this obvious hate of DMK on TVK that they ignored not to show their losing faces at the Oath-Taking ceremony. In fact both Stalin and Udhayanidhi only tagged Actor Vijay’s Twitter handle though they know TVK leader Vijay has got a separate handle. Such is the level of insecurity and the people could see that. Vijay's TVK Govt is very clear at showing the TN media their place. For long, TN media have been in the payrolls of DMK and have been publishing news favouring DMK, irrespective of whether DMK was in power or not. Every single scam and corruption was exposed either by politicians like Annamalai (DMK files) or independent youtubers like Savukku. The media played absolutely no role in that. Vijay's TVK Govt came to power only with the people support and the entire media, political parties and business ecosystem was against Vijay. Even today the media reporters ask only irrelevant questions and readily publish newscards that is against TVK. Perfectly summarised. All this internal survey and changes that DMK is attempting is not going to fetch any results because none of those have addressed their core problems. Fact is there is no space for youngsters or members who have climbed up the hard way. Every district and constituency is under the control of a senior either through their family or network. It is always them who will be given the opportunities. The fake ideology that they built over decades doesn't hold good anymore as everything past information is accessible to public and they know how big a contradiction DMK members are.
