Anton, a 32-year-old artilleryman, joined the Ukrainian army at the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion in 2022. He was wounded on February 26 in the Pokrovsk direction when an FPV drone fragment pierced his chest and became lodged in his aorta. Anton was operated on by doctors at the Mechnikov Hospital. According to the hospital's director, Serhii Ryzhenko, 99% of patients with such an injury do not survive.
