This is totally disingenuous. You can be for against greater taxation of property value. But if we are going to tax property it should reflect the actual value. The size is irrelevant. One of the big issues we’ve had is the wild accumulation in London property prices without any sort of fair adjustment of the Council Tax system. Its simply not fair on people outside the capital paying the same or more council tax who are in reality far less wealthy.
