This clip is emblematic of how Katharine Birbalsingh conducted herself in her debate with Connor Tomlinson on Dan Wootton. Connor was polite, complementary, and patient throughout. He repeatedly said what an impressive school Birbalsingh ran in terms of exam results. Birbalsingh questioned Connor’s faith, questioned his career worth, constantly interrupted, and at one point essentially referred to him as a fringe extremist. The entire interview was actually a walking advertisement of a coloniser being incredibly hostile to a native who whilst upset about his own ethnic cleansing maintained being a gentleman. Doesn’t that say it all?

Every year, over 800 visitors from all over the world come to see how they do it. Birbalsingh’s approach? High expectations. Strict rules. The team always trumps the individual. Students are taught to take personal responsibility, to reject victimhood, to have a sense of duty towards others, and to embrace self-sacrifice for the betterment of the whole. "No matter how often they are told that they are oppressed – that the establishment is against them because they are poor or black or live on an estate – it will always be the case that we have agency." In a world increasingly obsessed with identity politics and victimhood narratives, Birbalsingh offers something radical: the belief that our children are capable. That they have power. That their future isn't determined by their circumstances but by their choices. At ARC 2023, she made a compelling case: our schools should immerse children in values that promote cohesion rather than division. What if we stopped teaching children they're victims and started teaching them they're agents of their own lives?

Edullect Academy independent school is a "Muslim" school, which has just opened with a full time nursery and primary school in Havering. It appears to be a fee-paying faith school seeking state support, yet it has not been fully assessed against the required standards. Any state-funded school must promote Fundamental British Value democracy, rule of law, individual liberty, and mutual respect and faith schools are generally expected to admit some non-faith pupils when oversubscribed. The real test will be the next Ofsted report. Expect more schools like this to emerge.

They taught us to judge people's intelligence based off of their ability to regurgitate the nonsense that they were taught in school. The 9-5 was created so that we don't have time to question the entire system. They give us just enough to buy food, clothing and shelter but never enough to have full control over our time. It was all created to keep us disconnected from nature and living in a state of fight or flight as we feed our energy into the system. It's all a scam and everyone knows it deep down.
