At about 9am this morning , the Lagos State Environmental Taskforce continued the clean-up operation on the new Coastal Road, clearing wooden sheds behind Eko Hotel where miscreants and destitute were living. The sheds were removed and taken away by the enforcement team, restoring sanity to the area. Our operatives will continue monitoring to prevent their return. #ZeroToleranceLagos

In continuation of the agency's clean up enforcement operation to rid the State of criminal elements, the Lagos State Environmental Taskforce set out at about 0020hrs on 10th January, 2026, and embarked on its ongoing clean up enforcement operation on the Mainland area of the State. The team observed the entire road, along Akowonjo by Cele busstop has been converted to beer parlor, drug peddling at different level taking place and presence of criminal elements. During the clean up operation, the team ensured the entire area was completely cleared of violation of the State environmental laws and ward off criminal activities. All chairs and tables and other items spread all over the road, preventing free flow of traffic were all seized. During the operation, 56 suspects were arrested and will be arraigned in court as soon as possible. #ZeroToleranceLagos

On Thursday. 2nd May, 2025 at about 2.30a.m, the men from the Lagos State Environmental Taskforce team embarked on its clean up enforcement operation at Ikeja and its environs to rid the State of criminal elements. The areas visited during the operation includes; LASUTH under-bridge, Ikeja under-bridge, Ipodo Street and other adjoining areas within Ikeja where the presence of some undesirable elements was noticed. During the raid exercise, one of the miscreants arrested and locked in Taskforce vehicle, stole monies belonging to another Suspect in the vehicle. A total number of 42 male and 5 female suspects were arrested, and sanity was restored in all the areas.
