Rapsody speaks on hip hop culture being given away to those that don’t care about it, especially within hip hop media like DJ Vlad and No Jumper: “It’s a beautiful art form, and we haven’t projected it enough in that way…We’ve given it to the wrong people…I just love this culture too much, and there are people that really love it and care about it… We’ll talk about things that we don’t like vs. the people that we do like. How are we being intentional with our art form and our story and our truth and who we give it to.” Effective Immediately ❗️

How do you call someone 20mins when they’re at work and expect them to answer 20times??? And when they answer, how can your response be that… can we just agree that people need to get their lives together

Hmm! You can only publicly say such things about people you know to be peaceful and accommodative. In some places you can’t get away with it, moreover when you live among them! But even peaceful people can get enough of mockery and ingratitude sometimes

YOU’D BE SURPRISED HOW MANY PEOPLE CONNECT WITH YOU WHEN YOU’RE JUST BEING YOU. You don’t need to be a social media expert to build a following. The most powerful thing you can do is simply put a camera on yourself doing what you already love and be authentic. Tim Sherry are exactly that. They dance. They love music. They have fun together. And all they did was put a camera on something they do anyway. They have now built a community that embraces them, they’re meeting incredible people, having a great social life, living their best lives, and will now take show on the road with Eddie 'F' Ferrell Hanging out with them was one of the most memorable times I’ve had. So whether you’re 18 or 80, ask yourself: What do you already love doing that you could simply put a camera on? You will be surprised how many people love the same things you do and want to be part of your community. So if you know someone that has a passion and doesn’t know where to start Don’t overthink it. Just be authentic, put the camera on, and start. Like Toll and Nike says: Just do it. Congrats Tim and Tolly on bringing joy to so many people.

Like, "I love seeing you two together, its like a couple," but we can't really do that. It can affect our relationships with each other too, you know? 🦈: Sometimes we genuinely don't want that kind of image, but people still end up rooting for it anyway. And then we're just like, "heyy… 🖐️" 👤: So it's kind of like you have to distance yourself from your own friends because of it? 🦈: Yeah, that can happen. Like, "You go ahead first, I'll walk later" 🦈: And when things get to that point, people can slowly start drifting apart without even realizing it. / i love how bold he is 👍👍

Running this page has opened my eyes to how many racists who hate white people we have living amongst us. It’s disgusting. I see on a daily basis, people in the comments banging on about slavery and colonialism. They don’t realise the luckiest day of their lives was being born in a western democracy. They have lived a life of privilege but like to be a victim. They are angry with white people moving into black countries hundreds of years ago. But perfectly fine with black people moving to white countries in the present day. They call it immigration when it’s them. They are in support of people being able to live wherever they want. Just not when it’s white people. That’s colonialism and it’s evil. They don’t realise they are everything that they hate the colonisers for. They take all the benefits of being here. But still hate us for it. They use history and things that didn’t happen to them as a scapegoat to be openly hateful towards us. In their own mind it justifies their racism so they can still hold the self righteous belief they are a good person. But when I see people like this. It restores my faith in immigration. It’s good to know that this can sometimes be the outcome. Not everyone is selfish and only care about their own race. There are plenty of people who care about us too. Plenty of people see it for what it is and stand by our side and I have nothing but respect for them. I wish everyone was like that. Thank you to this man for speaking out for us and showing common sense. Because when we say this, they call is far right racists and fascists. But in reality we are only human just like anyone else. Only we are taught to just accept this and eat shit and be happy. It’s double standards and this man is bang on it 👏👏

Chanhyuk: Company doesn’t matter, but it’s about the people you work with. “There’s also something like this. Even though we say we created a “company,” we just used that word because it’s easier for people to understand. But in the end, it’s not really about the company, it’s about the people. Like, who you work with. And what kind of experiences you share with them, that’s what really matters the most. So with these people, whether we go, volunteering or travel somewhere, we always move together as one group. Because if not and later on, when I write and release a song, if we hadn’t shared those experiences, I’d have to explain everything. Like, “I went somewhere and had this kind of experience…” But since we’ve all lived it together, I can just say, “Hey, I wrote this kind of song this time,” and they’ll be like, “Oh, yeah, I get it. I know exactly what that is.” It just makes everything so much faster, right?”

Tyler, the Creator on how he feels about Timothée Chalamet’s confidence: “I hope he continues to feel that way about himself. I think people are intimidated when other people feel so good and confident about themselves, because they don’t know what that feeling is like. So that’s why they be like, ‘You better be humble,’—because they want you to feel how they might feel when they look in the mirror. And it’s like, ‘No, baby, some people actually love and like themselves and what they do.’”

Marc Andreessen on why we shouldn’t encourage people to be entrepreneurs “The idea of being an entrepreneur has been a romanticized concept. There used to be TV shows talking about how fun it was. And people ask questions, ‘How do we encourage more people to be entrepreneurs?’ And my answer was always: no, we shouldn’t do that. People shouldn’t be encouraged to do something that painful. They should do it because they really want to do it. In fact, they should do it because they can’t not do it.” Marc continues: “It’s tremendously painful. Most of the experience of being in business as a startup is being told no. You need all these things: employees, financing, customers. Then you go around all day long asking people for those things and they tell you no. Half the time they don’t even respond. And then just when you think you get it working, a new competitor emerges and just starts punching you square in the face. The minute you think your product is working, there’s a problem in it, and you have to do a recall. It’s just this constant rolling horror story.” Video source: Chris Williamson (2024)

Lara talks about the misconceptions and assumptions people have about them: “I think a big misconception is that artists or just people in the public are bulletproof. [..] We are so young and have kind of grown up with these speculations or so many eyes on us. And while it's something that we're so grateful for [..] People get to see our personality, but it’s not the full story, if that makes sense. [..] A lot of things get edited and people make false narratives. [..] There’s zero fact checking.”

Charlamagne saying it’s all false now, no proof on Jay at all. But when it came to Drake, he was front and center, laughing, pushing it, and treating unproven allegations like jokes 🤡 Funny how the energy changes depending on who it’s about. No evidence suddenly matters when it’s certain people, but with others it’s straight to entertainment and narratives. That double standard been loud.
