Learn to play defense, it’s really simple. You only need two defensive roles: one covering high, and one covering low and the pass. If your opponents are capable of going into the air, then covering the backboard should be your main priority. A good rule of thumb is that... show more

Every game you lose is your fault. A lot of players will look at this clip and blame the player back in defense. But the real fault is on the player up front who keeps going for poor challenges and overcommitting. All it should take is a single mistake from your teammate in defense for you to start playing more passively. In your solo queue games, you should not be in front of your teammate for long at all.

Splash speaks on Post Scorers in NBA 2K: “If it's bad, the three people that play post scorer a year is mad. If it's good, every person that has to guard those three post scorers a year is mad. Post scoring should be cool, it should be good. Because what a lot of y'all don't understand is, y'all be out there on your 6’8” do it all defensive back end swing Draymond Green build, and that person chose to push his glasses up when he made his build and make a 7’3” 99 post control post scorer. You're not guarding that.”

Buzz Williams shares how entitlement and gratitude are connected and why you can only have one. "When entitlement is high, gratitude is low." "Why would gratitude be low? Because you're being selfish. 'Hey, I'm supposed to get this.'" "If ego and arrogance are a part of entitlement - which they are - then I can't function with the level of gratitude that it takes." Then he connected the dots: "If my entitlement is high, my gratitude is low. If my gratitude is low, then I'm not present...You see how they're connected?" Entitlement pulls you out of the moment. Gratitude keeps you in it. Then he had them flip it: "When gratitude is high, entitlement is low." You can't be grateful and entitled at the same time. Entitlement is the enemy of progress. It's the delusion of earning without earning. Be grateful for the moment and the opportunity. (🎥Buzz Williams)

All of these are good/aware defensive plays she made, they won't post that tho, b/c they have an agenda. And that's cool, if lowlights is your thing, then it's your thing. I slowed the video down for some of the slow basketball IQ people, b/c a lot of you really are in that lane.

Mack Brown shares a can't miss message on habits and success. "If your habits do not lead to your dreams - change your habits." "If I'm not doing the things that I need to do to be successful out here, figure out why and do it. You wanna do it. It's easy to do." Then he delivered the real truth: "It's not what you're capable of doing. It's what you're willing to do." "You are all capable or you wouldn't be here. Every one of you. All of you are really good or they wouldn't have brought you in." "But what are you willing to do?" Many are capable, few are COMMITTED. "Now you should make the choice to be the best you can be and do what you were brought here to do and be a great teammate." You win through your habits and how you show up. The first choice is to show up. The next choice is to commit. Commit, show up, do the work, and stack the days. (🎥Texas Women's Swimming & Diving)

🔥 LMAO! President Trump arrived at the United Nations and IMMEDIATELY started clowning on CNN and Kaitlan Collins "I'm surprised that CNN is here covering me! You shouldn't be here. You should not be here covering me! You said you weren't going to cover me! You shouldn't be covering me!" 🤣

Targeting and covering opposition posters in broad daylight. If this is what democracy looks like, then we as the electorate need to wake up and see what's happening clearly. An incumbent government that has to work so hard to hide its opponents' posters is telling us about how confident it really is in its own record. Because when you have built something to stand on, you don't need to tear down what others are building. You let the ideas compete. You let the people decide. But if you're covering your opponents posters in broad daylight, you've already told the people everything they need to know. FD Ó ti yá.

⚠️ A friendly warning to the average American LEFTIST: (and I’m saying this as nice as possible) If you are pro IRGC and Islamic regime just because you hate Trump, AND if you decide to post a video to publicly show your support for the demonic Islamic regime and use OUR TRAGEDY to threaten President Trump, KNOW that over 90% of Iranian-Americans are not your Nice White Americans who have tolerated your BS for the past 10 years. (The nurse in my last post is the case in point). We will FIND your information and make sure that you will never have a job again. WE WILL protest in front of any place your work until they realize that YOU ARE A LIABILITY. You have freedom of speech, that is your right and we respect that, but you don’t have the right to threaten anyone AND you don’t have freedom from the consequences of your speech. There is nearly a million of us, we are ANGRY, we are WOUNDED and we are DETERMINED. DO NOT FU*K WITH US! Sincerely

PLAYERS NEED TO WORK ON PASSING TO POST Post touches are such an easy way to get paint touches and draw the defense in. It is so true that players in today’s game STRUGGLE PASSING TO THE POST. Most of them don’t ever do it. I watch so many games where teams miss opportunities to get easy baskets or kick out threes bc their guards 1- don’t even look in the post, 2- can’t make the entry pass. You want your bigs to screen for you, rebound, and do all the dirty work … give them a post touches every now and again and get them involved

Start positioning like the best 2s player in the world Daniel Positioning in the middle is outdated. It only allows you to cover one outcome, whereas positioning on the same side as your teammate lets you cover multiple outcomes at the same time. If you think the play is going to go in a certain direction, simply point your nose that way instead of repositioning your entire car. Here is Daniel consistently scoring easy goals by positioning on the same side and behind his teammate.

Traditional drop steps can be neutralized too easily and I love that we can borrow from how we attack on the catch from the perimeter and apply it to the low post. Splitting your feet with your back to the basket is a devastating way to take advantage of low post defenders.

Commentators talk about the defense following some shots of Yuki Ishikawa, Yuji Nishida and Ran Takahashi: "When you talk about technique, you mean speed, etc. Speed is important, and of course, our defense is better than other countries. World-class. If we weren't world-class, with this size, we wouldn't be able to let opponents score. It's amazing to see someone go and cover where another player has gone. Wonderful. Like, covering in case that person can't get the ball, that's extremely important. Covering, even here on the sidelines, creating momentum from the defense and connecting it to the attack. I think there's a lot of similarities in passing the baton. I guess if you can't defend, you can't go on offense either. So having a good defense is pretty important. I guess it gives you a sense of security when you go on offense."
