I randomized the particle mass to calculate the gravitational force and also use it for the scale. Also, arrow helper and better colors.

Do you think it's possible to achieve a large open world in a browser using WebGL? And could it be experienced with devices like Vision Pro and Quest 3?

Technically, yes. Here's a little demo of an infinite world But a living world with gaming features is a lot of work.

Are you using instanced planes or point material?

It's in WebGPU. We can't use "point" unless we're okay with 1x1 pixel particles. So yeah, InstancedMesh with a SpriteNodeMaterial so that it faces the camera without any extra work 👍
