What is going on with women? It’s no longer men who abuse kids but now their mothers too ? A mother is supposed to be one of the safest people a child can run to, so hearing about a mother being arrested for allegedly abusing her own 3 year old daughter is honestly disturbing. A child that young cannot protect herself, cannot fully understand what is happening, and cannot simply walk away from an abusive situation. How does anyone look at a little child and choose to hurt her? Whether it is a man or a woman, abuse is abuse. Children deserve protection, love and safety, especially inside their own homes. This is heartbreaking and honestly makes you wonder what is happening to people.
