@ilyamirox I use debian as my working distro. a year passed by and i still love it. i just hate to fix it or any other distro just because i used a different tilting manager and that got fucked up during an update.

Linux already won everywhere except the desktop. The desktop is the one place it has been the future for twenty-five years. Every phone and server and TV and most cars run it and nobody chose it for the operating system. The future arrived underneath, where nobody looks.

I don't enjoy being rude but people that spend all of this time ricing their linux desktops are the least productive people I've ever seen. Dudes be staring and playing with their desktops instead of actually doing stuff on their computers

LOCKSCREEN: i do not need to know my PC's temps from the lock screen i do not need to know my RAM usage from the lock screen i do not need to know my CPU usage from the lock screen i do not need to know my SSD usage from the lock screen the rest is nice. DESKTOP: the topbar is really good. the weather widget at the bottom right feels nice too, but could be smaller. i do not need a wallpaper carrousel, it would maybe be used once every two months. the media widget with EQ is really good. the wifi/bluetooth connection widget is really good, it being sidebar attachable makes it crazy good. the settings window is really clean and well organized. not sure I like the visualizer where it is, and it isnt following the taskbar positioning so that's an issue. overall, I rate this a 9/10. very good! I wonder how fragile it is when put against different screen resolutions, and how customizable it is or if it relies strictly on dotfile editting, which can be a nightmare.

terminal is enough for linux users..

Tastes and preferences vary, but I think this design is excessive and unnecessary. When I use Linux, I disable anything in the GUI that might distract me. For me, speed and efficiency are always my top priorities.

It sure is fancy and flashy, but that is never going to convince the average normie. Too complicated, too many choices, no real standards. I use Arch BTW...😂

Id only they can rework around somethings but it's definitely better ,cleaner ,faster and more optimized as well as more secure than Windows anyday.

Wait... the future is a bunch of fancy animations and wallpapers ? I use Linux on servers, but the user experience on the desktop is miserable, doing basic stuff still requires elbow grease on a terminal. Until this is sorted out there is no way it can replace Windoze or MacOS
