Migrants from Belarus attempt to illegally cross the Lithuanian border Near the Varėna and Lazdijai districts, 38 migrants tried to cross the border but quickly retreated back into Belarus after spotting border guards. Similar attempts were repeated twice more during the same night - all unsuccessful.
