Live2D cubism 5.3 Alpha has AMAZING features!! To the left is the normal blend type on the horns, while to the right, I changed Blending modes to Color burn, Add, Darken and Multiply. This adds so much more intense colors and depth! I'm beyond thrilled!! 🙏 #cubism53_alpha

Left for opalescent horns and right for strong saturation! Ahh I love the options we’re getting

Thank you! I initially made these horns using many different blending modes so I was pretty sad when the quality of the crystals went down in Live2D due to the lack of different blending modes. Im very happy to finally be able to use these to their full potential!

Happy Final Space Friday! Got another soundtrack piece "One Final Talk" from Andrew Goodwin and now that I'm hearing more music it's hard for me to imagine this novel without the music. It adds so much emotion for our final ride. Me and Seth went over all the notes from our test readers and are starting to fix the spelling errors and grammar stuff. There are a couple page fixes for three moments to land even harder that I'm going to give Daz Daz Tibbles, today! So the good new is there isn't a lot to fix or add. I'm currently combing the novel to find the right spot to add our embedded soundtrack and blending it into the story as best as possible. There will be some adds with this too. I'm also finishing up the back matter to the novel with will include a written goodbye from me and sketches of pages from ideas to ink to color which will be cool. And I'm hoping to put an audio commentary from Daz and I as we talk over each part. I really like this idea so you all can follow along as we talk about it. Now color were getting there, we have to fix Part 3, Part 4 (we fixed the inking so we need to fix the coloring), were coloring Part 5, Part 7 still needs to be colored and then Part 8. I'm playing with the idea that part of PART 8 will be black and white and then the color comes back and a killer moment (it's apart of the story) but this has been an idea I was playing around with since the beginning and it looks REALLY cool. Anyways lots of fine tuning but it's coming together! Exciting! -Olan PRE-ORDER:

✨"Cubism Editor 5.4.00 alpha1" limited release until September 14, 2026✨ We are also releasing Cubism 5 SDK for Unity R7 alpha1, which supports these new features, at the same time. Check out the accompanying digest video to learn about the main new features. 🔥[New Features] ✏️ [Parameter Controller SDK Support] Parameter controllers (IK) are now supported in the SDK. You can configure them directly on the model and export them as runtime files. Additionally, a new "target-only" controller can be defined to allow the controller to follow a path. ✏️ [Model State Set] A new model state set feature has been added. You can register working states in a dedicated palette, enabling you to recall specific states of visibility, lock, and parameter values with a single click. This helps you work more efficiently by allowing you to switch between states tailored to different tasks. ✏️[Expanded Editing Support for External Application Integration API ] The external application integration API has been expanded to include object editing and more. You can now integrate an API to directly add and edit parts, deformers, and parameters on models in the editor. ✏️[Enhanced automatic layout for texture atlases] The automatic layout algorithm for texture atlas editing has been completely redesigned. This enables more efficient packing with less unused space. You can configure the layout settings individually for each texture, allowing for flexible layouts. [How to use Cubism 5.4 alpha] Please see the announcement page for details on downloading and feedback. ⚠Notes on using the alpha version - The alpha version is provided for the purpose of gathering feedback on the usability and performance of new features. - Usage Period: Until September 14, 2026. - Please be sure to create a backup, as there is a possibility of data corruption. - Alpha version data and SDK outputs are not guaranteed to function properly and we do not provide support for it. #Live2D #cubism54_alpha
