Most runners under-load their calves. Heavy calf raises fix that. Runners usually do bodyweight single-leg raises and call it done. But your Achilles tendon takes massive load every stride. Bodyweight isn't enough stimulus to make it stronger. Heavy load is what drives the adaptation. I do these on leg day. 50kg in the hands, standing on a plate so my heels can drop below the toes. Focus points: โ†’ Full range of motion. Heels drop below the plate at the bottom, full extension at the top โ†’ Slow on the way down. (~2 seconds.) โ†’ Go bilateral when loading heavy. Single-leg has its place, but two legs lets you put real weight through the tendon โ†’ Don't rush the rep. This isn't a calf burner, it's a strength lift 3 x 8-10 reps. Train your calves in the gym so they can handle what running demands.

๐Ÿšจ HOLY CRAP! Democrats are melting down and rushing to sue Donald Trump in court because effective this Friday, DHS is enforcing the IMMIGRATION ACT of 1882 which will BLOCK migrants who use welfare Savings: estimated $13B YEARLY because of as many as 5.6 million migrants losing taxpayer benefits ๐Ÿ”ฅ ABSOLUTELY BASED! The move has been long-coming, as the Trump admin has been barreling towards making clear that NO FOREIGNER has a right to come to America and LEECH off the taxpayer dollar. The benefits included in the public charge law are food stamps, Medicaid, government housing and more Expect green cards to be revoked or declined. This is ENFORCING EXISTING LAW and Democrats don't stand a chance in court! But I would NOT be surprised if an activist judge first blocks the policy before it makes its way up the federal court system, possibly to SCOTUS But the executive authority here is rock solid. Thursday February 12, 2026, 11:42 AM: A powerful Siberian series of Pacific storms is making its way to California and especially Southern California by Monday morning. This storm is going to unleash higher thresholds 3.7 to 8.0 inches of rain as possible but most likely between 3.2 to 6.0 inches looks solid with this heavy rain event is trending aggressively. This robust storm also has a impactful very intense polar jet stream axis of 180 knots. That will slam Los Angeles County directly on Monday 5PM - Tuesday 8PM. That will create potential for strong damaging winds of 60 miles an hour on Monday afternoon to Tuesday morning with possible power outages affecting from San Luis Obispo down to San Diego and urban flooding concerns for much of our region. #CAwx

How did SpaceX film inside a 33-Engine Raptor inferno without the camera melting? ๐Ÿš€๐Ÿ”ฅ What looks like a camera melting inside a massive explosion is actually a masterclass in extreme aerospace engineering: SpaceX capturing close-up footage of its 33-Engine Raptor ring firing simultaneously. Instead of relying on standard commercial camera housings that would vaporize instantly, this setup uses heavy-duty, customized protective enclosures engineered to withstand thousands of degrees of intense heat and vibrational stress. Paired with optical-grade sapphire crystal viewports and active cooling systems, the lens remains entirely uncompromised as the engine cluster ignites into a blinding wall of fire. At a time when deep-space exploration requires pushed technical boundaries, this unbelievable footage proves that capturing the heart of a rocket blast no longer requires sacrificing the gear. Simply put: Bringing highly specialized thermal shielding to a high-speed camera setup marks a massive evolution in aerospace diagnostic engineering and launch documentation.

METAL SNAPPED LIKE BONE: 190-Foot Bailey Bridge Tears Apart, Truck Smashes Into Sutlejโ€™s Churning Hell - Congress Neglect Turns Highway Into Death Trap In a split-second of raw terror on Tuesday, the 190-foot Bailey bridge in Himachal Pradeshโ€™s Kinnaur district didnโ€™t collapse it exploded in a violent, grinding shriek of twisting steel and shattering concrete. The truck was midway across the narrow, overloaded span on National Highway 5 (Old Hindustan-Tibet Road) between Reckong and Tapri near Urni Dhank when the entire structure gave way. Metal panels ripped apart like wet paper, the deck buckled and dropped, and the heavy vehicle was hurled sideways into a sickening free-fall. It smashed into the violent, rock-strewn Sutlej River nearly 200 feet below with a thunderous, bone-crushing impact that sent water and debris exploding upward. For several horrifying seconds the truck was half-submerged and battered by the freezing, merciless current before the driver somehow clawed his way out of the wreckage with only minor injuries - alive, but staring straight into what should have been his grave. This was no random accident. It is the direct, predictable result of the ruling Congress governmentโ€™s years of criminal neglect and cost-cutting in Himachal Pradesh. Under Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, the state has allowed these dangerous, temporary Bailey bridges - never meant for heavy, long-term use - to remain on one of the most treacherous mountain highways in the country. Instead of replacing them with proper permanent structures, the Congress administration has gambled with countless lives, prioritising everything except the safety of people forced to travel these killer routes every day. The twisted wreckage hanging over the gorge and the crushed truck in the Sutlej are not just the remains of a bridge. They are proof of a government that has failed its most basic duty: keeping citizens alive on the roads it claims to maintain.

Unpopular opinion, but true rhythm has zero boundaries. I was scrolling through my feed and had to pause this clip like three timesโ€”this white girl is absolutely gliding to this Amapiano beat! ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿ”ฅ Amapiano is notorious for its subtle footwork, groove, and heavy bass control. Honestly, most people who try learning African dance styles end up looking a bit stiff or overthinking the timing. But her? She didn't just learn the moves; she genuinely feels the culture and the tempo. Every foot step, every hip swayโ€”itโ€™s pure muscle memory and effortless vibe. My only complaint? This clip ends way too soon! 11 seconds is a total tease when someone is putting on a masterclass like thisโ€”we definitely need the full 3-minute video. Itโ€™s always incredible seeing someone step into a culture with that much respect, passion, and natural talent. She completely owned that crowd. What do you guys thinkโ€”is she bringing the cleanest Amapiano moves on your feed today? Let me know below! ๐Ÿ‘‡
