With 145 schools over 50% empty, school choice is the obvious solution that would ensure that education funding actually meets the needs of students where there are. Corey A. Glad to see the Kentucky General Assembly override Gov. Beshear’s veto. I wrote this legislation. Governor Beshear either doesn't understand it or is lying. Either way he's choosing unions over students. First, private scholarships, not state dollars, will flow to students. It will cost Kentucky nothing while giving every child in Kentucky the education that best fits their needs. Second, public school kids will benefit too. The law allows funds to flow to special-needs students attending public school who may need additional money for after-school tutoring services.

More and more students are heading out of state for school, even though some of our best universities are right here in California. I’ll change that. We built a school! The Sameer Project provided Al Bashir school with 3 small tents in the past. However, this school that’s located in Deir El Balah grew quickly with the number of students applying getting higher, especially now with the displacements of families from the North to the South. Tomorrow is the opening inshallah. This is why the Sameer Project decided to expand the school to four large tents, which now allows 800 students when previously the school could only accommodate 350 students. The campus included tents, chairs, tables, benches, fencing, gates, toilets, plumbing and electricity generator. The cost of the school was $14,210 with 11% commission for bank transfer and $4,055 with 45% commission for cash. Total expenditure was $18,265. Education is central to Palestinians. Education is our weapon, education is our resistance. Thank you for allowing us to make this happen and a big thank you to our incredible team on the ground for their efforts on this. 𝗙𝗥𝗢𝗠 𝗗𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗚𝗛𝗧 𝗧𝗢 𝗛𝗢𝗣𝗘: 𝗛𝗢𝗪 𝗪𝗘 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗩𝗜𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗣𝗢𝗧𝗔𝗕𝗟𝗘 𝗪𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗧𝗢 𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬 𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗦𝗘𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗗 𝗜𝗡 𝗢𝗦𝗨𝗡 I am pleased to share our administration’s journey to ensuring every household in Osun State have access to potable water in fulfillment of the sustainable development goal (SDGS) 6 of providing clean water and sanitation. Immediately after our inauguration in November 2022, we set out to address the acute shortage of clean water to residents of Osun State, most notably the rural dwellers. With the successful completion of construction of 332 boreholes across all political wards in the state within our first 100 days in office, we have followed it up with strategic upgrade and renovation of several water works in the state for effective and efficient supply of clean water to the people. The completion of the ongoing renovation of Ora Igbomina waterworks, expected to serve about 5 or more local governments in Osun Central, and the renovation of Iwo Water Works, expected to serve the people of Iwo Federal Constituency , is another milestone in our quest to ensuring every household in Osun enjoys clean water. I appreciate the support of the good people of Osun State, as we remain committed to delivering on our administration’s 5 point-agenda.
