That moment is filled with so much depth in one moment, it's amazing. Turning the every day funny guy into someone with tragedy. The delivery is impeccable. The pause between moments, and the tone... Aaaugh. So good. Jax needs a hug. All the hugs.

He is. Filled with so much trauma. He was dealht a bad hand, and tried to handle it the best he could, with the tools he thought he had, and it led him down this way. Do wana hug him too. Tell him he's loved, and things will be okay. *offers hug for now*

Digital Circus es un caso raro porque en el piloto plantea una premisa que durante la serie se explora y genera mas preguntas hasta que en el ultimo capitulo hablan como por 5 minutos sobre de que NO SON REALES y luego se trata TODO SOBRE JAX y el resto de la trama está rusheada

Jax went from goofy asshole comic relief to one of TADC’s most complex characters. The finale makes his cruelty and detachment hit so much harder. He’s not secretly a good guy either he’s flawed, scared, defensive, and still capable of caring. That’s what makes him feel so human.

It's wild Jermaine is just barely even a character for a majority of the show's run. He's mentioned a few times but you'd think with him being the main character's brother he would be expanded on earlier. Really cool how they use his absence and make it part of his character

Damn! Just woke up and the first thing I watched was the #Ramayana trailer. (Yup I wake up at 2pm). One thing that really stood out to me was Ravana’s introduction. It looks like they’re showing his conquest of Lanka and how he came to rule it, something we hardly ever get to see in most Ramayana adaptations. If that’s what they’re doing, it’s such a brilliant way to introduce the character. Yash looks incredible. The physique, the massive mukut, the royal outfit, and the way he’s just sitting there so calmly… he feels like a king first and a villain later. That screen presence is insane. Even the glimpses of Pushpak and Airavata look spectacular. Everything feels massive without looking overdone. This is exactly the kind of scale and character treatment I was hoping to see. Can’t wait for the release!

It's so terrifying how real this feels. He's dealing with very relatable issues in the modern world like lack of purpose and loneliness, but he's responding to them in a completely unhinged and self sabotaging way. And especially on rewatch, we can see how corny he is. He's looking pretty tough in the first few shots: getting in shape. Then at the gun range he's blinking and flinching as he fires, like most of us would. He's not an archetypal movie killer, he's a normal, weird, corny, loser guy. He flexes just to see his own arms, he practices drawing the guns in front of the mirror to see if he looks cool and intimidating, but his physical movements are quite effeminate in those shots, not really tough or scary. He's an fascinating and believable character because Scorsese and De Niro did such a good job at making him a nuanced, interesting, spooky, determined, violent, badass, corny, loser guy.
