Looks like poor EV charging infrastructure isn’t only isolated to the North. Someone has just sent me this from South Mimms M25 services during the recent cold snap 🥶 - surely with the growing number of EV’s, this is a sight we will see more and more of?

Some of us will see rain on Monday and Tuesday, but this looks like being mainly in the north and northwest. Showers are possible in the south and east and perhaps even a few thunderstorms, but these are likely to be much more isolated and many places will miss out and stay dry.

There is NO END IN SIGHT to this brutally Cold pattern, with multiple waves of Arctic air likely to continue pouring into the U.S. well into mid-December. The Polar Jet Stream will keep diving south again and again, dragging down round after round of frigid Canadian air. This is the kind of cold we normally see in the heart of January - seeing it this early is highly unusual. Temperatures will run 10, 20, even 30 degrees below normal, and some locations may drop below zero for a prolonged stretch. Wind chills will be even worse. Bottom line: ⬇️ The cold isn’t going anywhere. Bundle up… it’s going to be a long, frigid stretch. 🥶

🇱🇧🇮🇱 Lebanese southerners interviewed as they evacuate the south amid Israeli bombardment threats. "We will surely return victorious. Even if we stay in our cars for a whole month. We will surely return." This comes after the IDF issued official warnings not only for areas south of the Litani River, but also for zones north of it. More recently, alerts have extended to the entirety of Beirut’s southern suburbs—a densely populated area estimated to house between 500,000 and 900,000 people. Note that these measures appear consistent with what has been described as Israel’s “Dahyeh Doctrine,” a strategy targeting densely populated urban areas to exert military pressure. With sectarian tensions rising in Lebanon, the mass evacuation from the South—within a country of just 10,452 km²—is only going to increase internal strain. And reports of sectarian tension have already emerged. Many people are refusing to host southern Lebanese evacuees, for different reasons. Some is outright sectarian prejudice, while others fear being targeted themselves because, as they put it, “Shiites live among us.” Many see this as part of Israel’s strategy to pressure a fragmented Lebanon from within, using displacement and fear to weaken the state. Just been sent this. Nothing new here. Just one of the daily videos I get sent of migrants harassing women and children. I get sent that many I don’t even share half of them. Whats more crazy is I’ll get actual Scousers who will attack me for sharing this. Hitting me with the “Tory” “wool” “Liverpool is a welcoming city” shouts. They hate me because I shine light on this and they don’t want you to see it. They want to keep you in the dark so it can continue. I still cannot understand why they are like this
