I personally do pulldowns every upper body day to make sure that my back is strong and healthy so that I can move around and do activities consistently. The wide grip pulldown emphasizes the width of your back and the close grip pull down emphasizes the lower lats (shapes your waist) and thickness of your back. Friday’s deadlift 1x5 @ 265lbs breakdown: 1st rep, good form. 2nd rep, back wasn’t set. 3rd rep, 4th rep same. 5th rep, broke my grip and same. Proud that I got four reps without breaking my grip. I know I’ve got to work on resetting my form. Back at it in the AM. 😤💪🏻🔥

295 deadlift again today Aiming for better form. Specifically: 1️⃣ dragging the bar up shins/legs 2️⃣ keeping the chest up. Feeling good about 1. Less so about 2. Still a big improvement from last time. TBH I was gassed after this lift. Deadlift right after squats and added warmup sets to practice form, which I normally don't do for deadlifts. I was toast.
