When driving on rough or muddy terrain, shifting into L (Low gear) gives the vehicle more torque and better control, making it easier to get through difficult sections. However, don't drive long distances in L. Low gear keeps the engine at higher RPM, which increases fuel consumption and unnecessary engine and transmission wear. Once you're past the rough road, shift back to D (Drive) for normal driving.

This seems cool: up to 4.5kg grasp load (though very much depending on grasp), seems like it has passive/mechanical backdrivable joints, and active stiffness control. Seems much, much more like a human hand than most things I have seen. Implemented in part via a low-backlash, low-damping reducer; which is interesting. Potentially how they avoid the need for qdd/low gear ratio actuators, but still get mechanical transparency.

You don't control the fight. You control everything before it, the training, the gear, the edge. Then you watch and pray. 🩸

CARNEY: "A functioning, not corrupt, Venezuelan economy will produce more oil. It will be better for the people. It will be more stable for the Western Hemisphere. That's all a good thing... Canadian oil will be competitive because it is low risk, low cost and low carbon."

FLIGHT STATS 🥩🚀 - 33G's max acceleration - Mach 2.6 - 8.5km - Meat internal temp reached 105C / 221F Yaw/pitch/roll control worked great! At low speed and low air pressure we get a little oscillation, starting on the roll axis and progressing to pitch/yaw. A little more detail in the modeling should fix that. Cross range at apogee was about 230m from the launch point with lateral velocity less than 2m/s! HUGE win for my goal with pitch/yaw control: reducing recovery dispersion. The rocket is in awesome shape, I think it should fly again! Maybe as a second stage to a much higher altitude so we can nail down attitude control in the upper atmosphere.
