Did you know that in Blender you can easily distribute objects along curves? ✨ 1. Press Shift+A to add a bezier curve 2. In the geometry nodes editor press 'New' 3. Here's an interesting look at the Northrop X-4 Bantam, built in 1948 with no horizontal tail and depended on the wing control surfaces for roll and pitch attitudes. Very similar to the German Me 163. It failed mainly due to lack of a modernized flight control system.😎

FLIGHT STATS 🥩🚀 - 33G's max acceleration - Mach 2.6 - 8.5km - Meat internal temp reached 105C / 221F Yaw/pitch/roll control worked great! At low speed and low air pressure we get a little oscillation, starting on the roll axis and progressing to pitch/yaw. A little more detail in the modeling should fix that. Cross range at apogee was about 230m from the launch point with lateral velocity less than 2m/s! HUGE win for my goal with pitch/yaw control: reducing recovery dispersion. The rocket is in awesome shape, I think it should fly again! Maybe as a second stage to a much higher altitude so we can nail down attitude control in the upper atmosphere.

Everything official is here: Early access first. Distribution before hype. Then TGE. That sequence filters tourists and leaves builders. If you’ve actually been active in the $SOL ecosystem, this isn’t hard to understand. $GPU Some plays reward speed. Others reward awareness. This feels like the second type.

Proxy Meshes aren't always ideal because many of the vertices are filler. They have to be in the right place to complete the surface shape and you have to worry about keeping the shape clean. But for simple shapes or clean curved surfaces, why not use curves directly Previously I've solved this by lofting the proxy mesh from a simpler set of curve profiles, but why not skip that and just define the Normals with the curve profiles directly? With typical Data Transfer modifier this isn't an option, but with Geometry Nodes it is no problem. And potentially gives much more control over interpolation and rigging.
