ENGINE FAILURE FORCES UNITED B777 BACK TO DULLES AFTER TAKEOFF United Airlines Flight 803, a Boeing 777-200(N78004) bound for Tokyo, safely returned to Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) on Saturday after suffering a loss of power in one engine shortly after departure. The engine issue on takeoff reportedly sparked a small brush fire along the runway, with airport fire crews responding immediately and remaining on scene as a precaution. The aircraft was seen dumping fuel before making an emergency landing back at IAD. There were 275 passengers and 15 crew members on board. No injuries were reported.
