luckily procreate has a timelapse function and here is my method of working, there isn't much or anything out of the ordinary really ^^

this is so cool, reminds me sm of how i've been trying to sketch figures recently without too much construction. makes me feel im on the right path

tbf I actually do shape and form construction pretty often too, I think it's the kind of fundamental learning that trains you to be mindful in illustrating volume, it's just that over time I start cutting corners and favor appealing shapes over accuracy ^^
