@TanyaSerbia it was a professor in Palestine that made fuel from plastic bottles like 7-8 years ago. with the fuel obtained he kept the generator on to have light at home or school. he posted photos on twitter with that. he's not active here since like an year after that

An Australian did this years ago. Even has a plant devoted to it. Saw the documentary about it.
