Rather unsurprisingly, Mr Hancock continues to be vague and evasive. Trying to push towards answering the question he wants to answer rather than the one he was asked. When he does finally answer, what he says is risible!

@terrychristian There absolutely was NO protective ring. None whatsoever. My father’s care home locked down early but still the virus got in via discharged hospital patients.

I feel so, so sorry for all the families hearing all this performative prevarication yet again. The government mishandled it badly (to put it politely) but even now try to convince everyone that they got all the big decisions right. It's heart breaking.

He used that terminology at the time for distraction and in the face of mounting evidence. In the Johnson era, those in power felt that if you said something often enough it would become truth. Except in this instance, bodybags and isolated, painful funerals intervened. #Covid

One of the residents has been fed up and decides to chase after them, and claims to have accidentally hit one when the boy pulled out in front of his car. Do you think he sped up on purpose because he was angry, the first thing the boy claims is that he wasn’t even there. Which means he knew about it and was more than likely there.
