Out of the 24 jeepney drivers, I always make sure not to cry hearing their stories, but this one… this was the time that I could not control my emotions and tears anymore… Hearing his story really broke my heart. I still remember when we gave him the rice, he said, “Salamat ma’am, dadalhin ko po ito pauwi sa Martes.” I was confused, why Tuesday? Bakit hindi mamayang gabi pag uwi? And then I found out that he goes home to Laguna once a week to save money, and what really broke my heart is that he sleeps in his jeep at night just to have some rest… and from earning 1k, naging 300 na lang? Hindi ko talaga napigilan sarili ko. Ang sakit lang isipin na ganito yung reality ng iba na kailangan nilang tiisin yung pagod, gutom, at lungkot just to survive and provide for their family. Yung simpleng bagay para sa atin, sobrang laki na para sa kanila. It made me realize how blessed we are and how important it is to continue helping in any way we can. Hindi lang ito about giving, but also about understanding their struggles and being present for them kahit sa maliit na paraan. That moment will stay with me. It reminded me why we do this, why we should never stop, and what kind of community we are.

🐹This was the song I originally had in mind as the title track tbh. It's great for performance and also a style that I like, so I was trying to push the song as the title track, but sadly DSYLM beated it out. But still this song will be so fun to sing at concerts. So I put this song as the 2nd track, hoping to express my love to this song. This song was actually the last one to be completed in this album's work. I think recording for the album concluded around early Feb, but even until the near end of recording the song before this one, I just couldn’t decide on the theme and kept on procrastinatingon this one. I wanted to write the lyrics and work on the theme myself too But on the last day of recording, I thought 'What thinking about performing it on stage'. So I wrote this while thinking about stage performances. When I sing, and the fans sing along with me, commonly called as a group chant/sing. I tried to capture that overwhelming, emotional feeling I get during those group singing moments. Our fans, Army, might relate to it, too but in truth, it’s a song that resonates most deeply with me.
