The annoying thing about this is that the name is obviously a play on a similar product... and the marketing materials are about how this one is native and fast. But, oops, that one is now also native as of a couple days ago. And it is getting pretty polished.

I wish I could download it without worrying about security, but not open sourcing it ruins everything now I’ve got to wait for some brave people to try it out

What a coincidence—right before this post, I just open-sourced a similar product with nearly identical functionality and layout. But Superconductor is in Rust, so it's smoother and faster. The future needs editors like this, not bloated IDEs.

Looks really good, but big issue for me is that I can not make own layout, I work with 2 rows of terminals. First one on top run app so I can see logs and under that I have claude session. This is part of my workflow, usually I have 3 terminal tabs at top and 3 at bottom in my cmux. Also I can not find way how I can clear terminal with shortcuts like cmd+k. But it looks like good. I will keep eye on you in case you will add those I will be able to use it. I wish good luck, this one looks best from all recent tools what I saw.

There is a bug when using the Chinese input method, pressing Enter in the middle of input will send it directly, lacking the "IME Composite Input Protection".
