And when you start a dev server on the remote machine, the browser pane in cmux can reach it at localhost:3000 without port forwarding. I replaced Claude Code’s default --worktree command with a custom one built around Ghostty, Lazygit, and Yazi. By default, Claude Code creates worktrees inside the .claude/worktrees folder within the same project. That means if you spin up 3 worktrees, you end up with 3 complete copies of your project nested inside your main project. It makes the project structure messy and difficult to manage. So I built a hook that: - Overrides the default --worktree command - Creates each branch in a sibling directory: ../worktrees/branch-name - Automatically opens Ghostty panes - Launches Lazygit and Yazi already positioned in the correct branch directory Install it with: npx claude-code-templates@latest --hook=development-tools/worktree-ghostty --yes Now each branch lives where it should, outside the main project, and your terminal environment is ready instantly.

I got so tired of everyone raving about how great cmux is. Panes this. Browser that. EXHAUSTING. And that's because I'm on Linux, where we get none of the coolest toys. So...I built it myself. And my God. You were right. It's amazing. Introducing Limux, a a GPU-accelerated terminal workspace manager for Linux, powered by Ghostty's rendering engine, with split panes, tabbed workspaces, and a built-in browser. Think cmux, but native Linux. If you're interested in something like this, be sure to leave a comment and I'll release it. Special thanks to Manaflow and Mitchell Hashimoto for making this possible.

As a swift developer Notchy has some custom functionality I built: - When a new XCode project is open he launches a new tab - If claude.md is detected he launches straight into claude code - Command + S saves a quick snapshot of code and I can restore from that checkpoint any time Enjoy :)
