I've tried my hardest to listen to this guy on multiple occasions to see if I could ever make any sense or logic out of his tax stuff, but I still can’t. The way he's been discussing this tax, it's as if he has a percentage of our tax because this is beyond just working for Nigeria. Disturbing part is that, this guy has already proposed deducting money from banks for jobs that they do not provide to the citizens. Why does he have to talk about taxation all the time, as if Nigerians haven't been paying any taxes at all, especially now that we have a very terrible economy and a discouraging business environment that kills businesses at ease? My question is: what has the government done for the citizens, and what exactly is the value of being a Nigerian this time that motivates this government to overtax the population?
