People who resigned from the Biden admin to protest U.S. handling of Israel’s war in Gaza have continued to express dismay with the DNC rejecting a Palestinian-American speaker onstage. One ex-staffer called the rejection "massively disappointing."

These delegates, who are strong supporters of the Palestinian cause, say they appreciate that Vice President Harris displays more empathy than President Biden regarding the situation in Gaza, but they are demanding more than words. When asked whether their lack of support for Vice President Harris could help usher in another Trump presidency, the delegates, who represent around 700,000 uncommitted voters, say that is a question for the Harris campaign to answer, not them.
