Just because we can emulate a brain doesn’t mean we should do it. Humanity constantly innovates without understanding; We did agriculture but we still have millions starving. We did the internet but still it leaves us polarized and confused. Digitizing human consciousness is a step we can’t take back, and we haven’t even begun to solve the mess we’ve already made. It’s time we slow down and actually figure out what we’ve created first.
