🔥 Michael Jordan + Jamie Dimon in one thread — absolute masterclass in mindset! Jordan’s obsession with golf because it’s “the hardest game” shows true champions actively seek challenges that humble them. And Dimon’s blunt truth about the future: longer lifespans + AI-driven work means our kids must stay adaptable, skilled, and resilient. This is exactly what I preach in leadership and IELTS/PTE training: embrace discomfort, build unbreakable discipline, and keep learning. The ones who treat life like the hardest game — and love the process — are the ones who win long-term. Passion for mastery + future-ready skills = unstoppable advantage. What’s one skill or challenge you’re obsessed with improving right now? Drop it in the comments 👇 Let’s motivate each other! #MichaelJordan #JamieDimon #Leadership #GrowthMindset #Discipline #PravinSir

MJ chasing golf because it's the one game where you can't guard your way out is so on brand. The mirror line nails why it hooks competitive people.

Scottie Scheffler explains why playing too many events in a row can mentally drain players and referred to Tiger Woods always playing a limited schedule: “I think when you look at this sport it's unique in a sense of like the amount of time we spend in front of people throughout a week. Like for me to play four days of tournament golf, from the moment I step out on to the driving range if we're playing at a four hour pace that's over five hours, five and a half hours if you include this part of my day, where we're in front of people. And doing that four days in a row in a mental sport I think can take a toll on you. “I think that's why you see a guy like Tiger can only play so many events because I think mentally the challenge of just being in front of people for that long and being on and what it takes in toward to compete week in week out takes a lot out of you mentally. So for me playing more than three weeks in a row is extraordinarily difficult. I can't handle much more than that. “When you look at the season now I think it, for family time it's great to have an off-season as well, just for us for me to be able to be at home with my family is important. As far as the cadence goes, yeah, I definitely have a cadence that I prefer when it comes to scheduling and there are definitely risks cramming a bunch of tournaments into little windows just because it's hard to play that many tournaments in a row. It's hard to be on for that many times. It's hard to get yelled at that many times in a row throughout a round of golf. It just is. That's why for me three weeks in a row is kind of my max.” PGA Tour TravelersChamp

Tyrese Haliburton reveals what Kevin Durant did after his Achilles injury that changed how he thinks about the word respect, and how much he cares about if he gets it “And after I got hurt, I realized how many people have checked on me. Checked on me, like, actually checked on me, how I'm doing. Not just, like, ‘How you doing?’ and keep it pushing. Like, have come and visited me or whatever. That's what I really value and what I really care about from people that I love and I respect. That's what matters to me.” “I don't know if, as a competitor, do I feel like I'll ever get the respect that I deserve? Probably not. But I view it in a sense of, like, it doesn't really matter because basketball, I can only play for a finite amount of time. And then when I retire, people are going to have debates and it won't really matter because it's all people's opinion and the way that they view the game of basketball.” “I hope that they respect the man that I am and the person I am. That's what matters more to me. As far as a basketball player, you can't please everybody, bro. Everybody's gonna have a problem with my game or something that I do. I don't shoot enough. It doesn't look the way it's supposed to look. I don't defend well enough. Like, it could be whatever.” “I don't care. As long as my teammates, everybody, as long as they respect me, that matters more to me. And the guys who are like my superheroes to me growing up, KD, Steph, Bron, like, go down the line, I feel like they respect me. And in the game of basketball, if those guys respect me, I don't give a shit what anybody else thinks. You know what I mean? Like, truthfully. So I know it's a loaded answer, but it's kind of just the way I view it.” “That's what I'm saying. And people I look up to, I can go down the line, especially those three, because to me, in my generation, that's like the big three. When I got hurt, KD flew to Indy to visit me. He was out there for All-Star, but he came early to come see me. Came to my crib. He was chilling with my dog, throwing the toy with my dog, like, to check on me. I was like, ‘Okay, he's forever. We forever cool.’” “You know, Bron and Steph both called and checked on me. When I got shingles and I said what I was going through, they both called me, checked on me. LeBron, during the Finals, I got so many voice memos from Bron during the Finals, which was like the craziest thing ever. But that's like the big three to me. So the fact that they show love, I'm like, in the world of basketball, what else matters? You know what I'm saying?”

Ludvig Aberg gives a refreshingly honest assessment of his round today: “Yeah, obviously really disappointed. I felt like I was striking it okay early on. Got away with a few things, especially No. 4, kind of left miss. “But overall pleased with the week. Obviously today the back nine was not good, but that's the way it goes sometimes.” “It got away from me quick there (on 11 and 12). Yeah, it was just poor swings. I felt like I've had that sort of 7-wood right miss a few times this week, on No. 4 especially twice, and it came up on 11 as well. “Then tried to press a little bit on 12, hitting driver, where sometimes you can play 3-wood a little short of that bunker. “Yeah, obviously really disappointed. I would have loved to be standing where Cameron is standing right now. But overall I still felt like I saw some nice things in my game this beak.” He then went on to talk about the positives he can take away from this week: “I think obviously the biggest thing that I take away is that I feel like I'm playing nice golf. I'm playing golf to the point where I feel like I can contend in big tournaments. “Obviously a good finish last week and still a top-5 finish this week. Overall I feel like I'm playing good golf, which is really nice. It's nice to see on a hard golf course last week, hard golf course this week. That makes me excited. “Obviously I would have loved a different back nine outcome today, but looking at the grand scheme of things, I'm pleased with my golf game.” All class from Ludvig after a really difficult back 9. NCAA Champion Michael La Sasso is now the youngest player on LIV Golf after signing for Phil Mickelson’s HyFlyers GC during the off season. He explained his decision to join the league ahead of the season opener in Riyadh: “One of the things that went into my decision, when I was 10 years old starting to play golf, like, the goal for me was to play professional golf. Having people that have been very well-known in the golf space and are so experienced, and to be able to be a part of a team that's with Phil, somebody that's had so much experience, I feel like he'll be able to answer any question that I throw at him, to have the ability to be able to ask somebody that on a daily basis, that played a very big part in it for me because not every 21-year-old has the opportunity to be able to ask questions to those people. So that was a big factor for me. “I think so far, I'm so grateful that I made the decision, and I am very happy to be here.” Michael also says that Caleb Surratt, who joined Jon Rahm’s LIV Golf team for the 2024 season, had an impact on his decision too: “So, I've had a very good relationship with Caleb Surratt. Not many people know this, but he was committed to NC State at the same time I was. He's from North Carolina, I'm from North Carolina. Growing up, I played a lot of golf with him, and we were very close. “I remember when he first came here, he stayed at my house because he was getting a swing lesson from -- we go to the same instructor. Everything that he had to say, it made me excited. From a very early start, hearing about LIV and every perk that it had and hearing him talk so highly about it, the fact that I actually had an opportunity to come out here and play, and I asked him a bunch of questions and kind of from the start, everything that he had to say and people that I talked to, everything was so, so good.” He went on to say about the prospect of playing team golf: “I think that makes the transition a little bit easier. I feel like my golf has kind of taken off when I've been in a team environment. For me, having a team around me was very appealing. “I've played good golf as a team. I like the camaraderie, kind of the friendly banter that goes back and forth between the guys. For me to have the opportunity to come play on a team environment for a professional career, I think that's the coolest thing ever.” This is Michael’s rookie season as a pro after signing for HyFlyers GC straight out of college. Normally, it’s a difficult transition for young players to make, but Michael isn’t short of confidence and has some lofty goals: “I've talked with a bunch of people on the team. I know Phil is very big on having a team win and an individual win. Now being the youngest player in the league, I'd kind of like to come in and make a good noise, and I would like to win a couple times. I would like to see the team win for sure, as a team event. I think that would be pretty neat, as well, and kind of take it one day at a time.” One thing is very clear from this interview, whatever happens during Michael’s pro debut this week, it will not be boring!
