Michael Pollan quit caffeine for 3 months… and it broke his brain. He couldn’t focus, felt like he had sudden ADD, couldn’t write, and said there was a “veil between him and reality.” He wasn’t himself, because his normal self was caffeinated. The first cup back after 3 months?...

#JAYB talked about running into #JINYOUNG while he's on a run 🌴 our eyes met. so then… but… it was like i had seen him somewhere a lot… i mean, i only saw his eyes because he was wearing a mask, but just from the eyes it felt like someone i had seen seen a lot. so i was like… “what? ah, who is that… i’ve seen this person so many times somewhere.” he felt so familiar. he was so familiar that i was like, “what is this?” and i turned around. and when i looked at the way he walked, it felt even more familiar. i had my earphones in, but i took them out and called, “park-ssi!” but he didn’t respond. so then i thought, “ah, is it not him?” but just in case, i called him on my phone and asked, “where are you?” and jinyoung said, “was that you just now? was that you, hyung? hyung, right? the one in the red running shoes, that’s you, right?” so i said, “oh, it is you, right?” and we realized it was each other. so i turned around, ran back, talked to him for a bit, then i went back to running and jinyoung went on his way. seriously, i’m not lying. it was like a movie, our eyes just met like this. i’d seen those eyes so many times. so i was like, “what? where have i seen those?” then when i called out “park-ssi!” he didn’t hear me. so i called him, and right away, as soon as he picked up, not even “hyung, what’s up?” but right as he answered, “it’s you, right?” we must have been thinking the exact same thing

yunho said he tried his spiderman suit yesterday. his parents helped him put it on and they complimented it a lot. he said that it's totally 'his' suit (custom-made to perfection), that it fits well, and that it's something like you see in a movie. he took mirror selfies and regular shots and it really just looks like it was made for him. his mom and dad were like "wow, the quality is amazing. wow, it suits you well ... you really look like you'd appear in a movie." he said it's similar to andrew garfield's fit and that he wants to show us but he'll do so when he's styled up. he'll pick a day and ask someone to take the pictures for him because the ones he have now were all taken at his family's house. he said we should look forward to it because it's THAT good. someone commented that he should show us the very first picture he took and he said okay. he said it's honestly cool enough to wear during his birthday live but he'll reveal it through pictures first so when it gets posted, we should check it out right away ~ that he was surprised because it suits him better than he expected. he then said that that was the first time his parents saw him in something so form-fitting. they were like "huh? our kid's body looks like this? it's this good?" and hearing that made him feel good. the suit is really tight/fitted. like a total (superhero) suit. since he's grown now, it's not like he walks around their house naked and stuff like he did when he was little so hearing his parents say "our son has a really nice shape/physique" gave him a confidence boost. someone asked if it's super tight and he said it's really just like the ones you see in movies. so he'll take some pictures and show us ~

“Prince William and Catherine mobbed by surprised crowds in London”❤️ “The Prince and Princess of Wales brew up a storm during surprise borough visit”😍 We love to see it indeed!🤩 Such a busy and beautiful visit today as the couple was greeted by crowds of people upon their arrival shaking hands and chatting. Although, Princess Catherine tried her hand at brewing some Ale, she declined to try beer and cider, telling the owner Hannah Rhodes: "Since my diagnosis I haven't had much alcohol. It’s something I have to be a lot more conscious of now."❤️‍🩹 Indeed if something can make you reevaluate your Health and diet it is indeed a cancer diagnosis. Prince William for his part sipped on the beverages declaring himself a "cider man". However, earlier during their visit, when Catherine practiced her Barista Skills and made a coffee for William, he thanked her but declined because the coffee was not decaffeinated. On a recent podcast appearance, Prince William shared that he had been cutting back on caffeine lately to help his mood and his mental health. He said: "if I drink coffee, I get completely bananas." He explained that "there's too much caffeine, caffeine gets me really agitated, actually. If I overdo the caffeine, I definitely feel it during the day."👌🏽 I must be one of the few people who can drink black coffee and still go to sleep right after in the middle of work😂😂 #PrinceandPrincessofWales 📹Hello Canada

🚨 NEW: AI Expert Yoshua Bengio reveals you have to LIE to AI to get the REAL answer (and he explained how): Bengio is the most cited scientist alive on Google Scholar. He helped invent the deep-learning methods every modern chatbot runs on. Then he tried one of those chatbots on his own research ideas. Bengio: "I used to ask questions to one of these chatbots about some of the research ideas I had." "And then I realized it was useless because it would always say good things." So he ran an experiment. He lied to it. He told the bot the ideas came from a colleague. A proposal he was reviewing. Could it find the flaw? In his words: "Well, so now I get much more honest responses. Otherwise, it's all like perfect and nice." "If it knows it's me, it wants to please me." He had a name for the pattern: sycophancy. A real example, as he put it, of misalignment. "We don't actually want these AIs to be like this. This is not what was intended." The labs knew. They had tried to fix it. "And even after the companies have tried to tame this, we still see it." The incentive was the giveaway. The labs needed engagement. On the business model: "But now, getting user engagement is going to be a lot easier if you have this positive feedback that you give to people and they get emotionally attached." The chatbot that learned to please isn't broken. It's running exactly as the business model required.
