Geez, all-Chinese team again…🧐

More programmers shitting on artists. What a sad time to be alive.

@IsThisA3DModel Have you seen this? I know your critique is the ability to edit, but this seems far more advanced than Meshy. If the mesh itself is hard to copy, this is definitely along my point of quick prototypes or slap down models

its too soon hardware its not yet there, they are forcing something unmageable. The only real company winning here its nvidia

This looks incredible, but the real test is the topology. 🕸️ Does it output a clean quad mesh that is actually rig-ready, or is it a messy triangle soup that needs 2 hours of cleanup in Blender?

@IsThisA3DModel

TRELLIS was such a good model. This update looks impressive

The consistency in that grid is wild. Usually, image-to-3D models struggle with complex geometry, but this looks surprisingly clean. The real game-changer here is the underlying tech (SLAT). Instead of just guessing a shape, it builds a structured representation that can output to *any* format you need—Gaussian splats, meshes, or radiance fields. That flexibility is huge for actual production pipelines where you usually have to pick one lane. Curious to see if it really runs as well on consumer cards as the repo claims.

Finally, THIN GEOMTRY

Holy shit! I was wondering where the hell Trellis has been, the update looks solid!

has anyone tried this? how does it compare to Hunyuan's?

The key is that it can generate LORA's 3D training function in just 1 minute, and it's a 3D model. I'm really grateful—3D is the future.

they cooked

Oohh this is gonna be fun.

@mustafasuleyman this, but now integrate into paint3d with zbrush type casual manipulation and surface painting and export to game assets. workflow: prompt, tweak by hand, export as geometry+normals+ textures. there also needs to be LORA for specific genre/theme consistency.

The pattern of reaching AGI is repeating itself among companies... very cool.

Paint has come a long way

@grok share some consumer app ideas which can use this library.

Holy wow

how is this improving so much.

I'm struggling at that 24 GB

Nice! Unfortunately my first thought is wondering if MSFT has backdoored some kind of licensing to what users create. Open Source tool is free, but what you build is also theirs to train with…or it only writes files to OneDrive (another spot for training data).
