GEN. JACK KEANE: "We should not extend the ceasefire deadline. That gives us the muscle to get them right now... to admit that they're going to give us everything that we need to do to put this to an end once and for all." "And if they don't do that, then the blockade continues and we rearm and we get back into combat operations." "They want to kick the can down the road, in terms of extending the ceasefire, so they can get better terms later on. That's who they are... and even when they agree to terms... we got to recognize these guys are liars and cheats and we've got to stay on top of them."

Q: It's thought in the paddock that your car is actually the best chassis and if you can get that extra bit of power you are the ones to beat. So are you thinking if we can just get this [Engine ADUO] we know we have an incredible car? Lewis Hamilton: "Yes absolutely, I mean the guys at the factory have done an amazing job with the car and we still have improvements to make but the car is fantastic it's just it's a battle of development through the season obviously some people bring upgrades one weekend and others the other but yeah we're just at the mercy of the lack of power that we have and I know that everyone worked really hard on the engine and reliability is obviously is very good it's just when you're lacking that straight line speed against the Merc it's very very tough but nonetheless you know we have to expect that the rest of the season that's just the way it is so we'll just try and see if we can continue to add on to the car and try and close the gap if we can go through quicker through corners in some races maybe we can get closer to a challenge in front of us." #WATCH | India AI Impact Summit 2026 | Delhi: Founder Chairman and CEO of Sampark Foundation & former CEO of HCL Technologies, Vineet Nayar says, "...From an employment point of view I think it is very important for us to understand that Indian companies, including Indian IT companies, are going to be profit-driven and therefore if you believe that they are going to create employment you must be dreaming. Therefore, the question is how do we create employment in this environment, and that employment comes from mass scale startups, which is what this government has already doing. So, how do we create new sets of people who are trying to solve new sets of problems not new sets of technology and if we do that we will get it right. I think we as Indians have to be very careful on who does data belong to and that is the debate we have a problem with. The LLM models which exist worldwide are far superior than the Indian models. Unfortunately, in India, we never develop products, so therefore we do not have SLMs and LLMs which are world-class. On one side, we have global LLM products which are coming to India and trading on our Indian data. Should we allowed that or should we not allowed that? But on the other side if we don't allow that then we have the data but we don't have the LLM models. So, how do we encourage technology completely to develop the LLM models. This needs radicals strategic thinking and a very important aspect otherwise we will either give up a data. So, I think it's a very critical aspect for us to think about - who does this data belong, what is the kind of incentives we are going to give to develop LLM technologies or SLM technologies fast so that we train on our data otherwise an LLM will come in with our data and we'll immediately see return and we'll celebrate and we will do all these kind of press releases but the India will lose a competitive advantage on something which is very critical for the next decade."

Mike Dunleavy Jr. says the Warriors are not in a situation to fix everything in free agency but they’re looking to put together a good team going into training camp: “I think there’s where you want to be in September when training camp starts, and there’s where you want to be in the spring as you try and compete for the postseason and get in the postseason. We have a couple transaction cycles here in the summer and then once again in February where we feel like we can build and maximize our team. And so I think the biggest thing is to put together a good team going into camp. And as I mentioned before, a lot of the improvement for us is going to have to come from within our habits, taking care of the ball, doing the little things. Get that knocked out, you get on your way to having a good season. We need to stay healthy and then get those guys (Jimmy & Moses) back, and then we’ll see at the trade deadline and we’ll evaluate everything. But this is not a fix-everything over the next couple weeks in free agency. We’re not in that situation based on some stuff we have going on, but we can get a lot better. We can have a good start to the season, and we can be in really good shape to make a run. But we got to get off to a good start.” (via NBC Sports Bay Area & CA with Bonta Hill and Monte Poole)

Incredible last few minutes of the Rick Rubin / Adam Neumann interview. I got chills listening to this. --- Adam: We'll connected to this week's portion. We all have something that we're slaves to. We all have an addiction to anger, to ego, to power, whatever it is, idol worship that we have. We all have an Egypt. We all need to leave that Egypt, come out of it. When we come out of that Egypt, we all face a Red Sea. When we see that Red Sea, we all need to have the courage to walk into it so far that we drown. Only when we're willing to drown will the Red Sea be split and we'll go to our next level. We then go to our next level. We see the Red Sea split. Suddenly we're like, oh, everything is okay. And we forget. The moment we forget, we step into the desert. We all have to walk through our version of desert. That desert is between us, us, and God. No one else. The only decision we get to have is how long we're going to journey through that desert. Are we going to journey for 14 days like the children of Israel were supposed to? Or are we going to journey for 40 years because we're not learning our lesson? Our choice is not, are we going to get into the desert or not? It's how long will we be in. And once we go out of that desert, we all have our version of the promised land. And if we have the courage to look inside, see our own correction, our own limitation, look at it clearly now and say, I see you, and I'm going to get over it. I'm going to learn. I'm going to grow. I'm going to understand that life is not about falling down. It's about how I'm going to get up. I'm going to fall 1,000 times so I can get up 1,001 times. And in that last time when I get up and I'm actually ready to go to my next level, I'm going to wish for you, for me, and for everybody who are listening — please, may we have the courage to go to our next level because we know that the promised land is waiting right after it. And may we not be afraid when the whole world is saying this or that about us. Who cares? It's about what you think, what your wife thinks, what your kids think, and what the universe thinks. Rick: Amen. Adam: Amen. Thank you. Thank you, Hashem. Thank you.

Chamath on Obama’s AI Warning: Follow the Money President Obama last week: “If we are thinking about AI just in terms of how do we cure cancer or get better energy, you can do that without having agentic AI. That's a misalignment between what our society needs and the commercial imperatives that these companies are facing.” Chamath Palihapitiya: “This is a very important moment for a very simple reason, which is we, as in the world, are about to endow three, four, five, six companies with about $10T of wealth. And what Obama knows very well is that most of those companies are overwhelmingly left-leaning. And what he also knows is that there is a huge portion of that money that will then get put into philanthropic and charitable causes that then he, and the people around him, will be beneficiaries of. That is the truth. We already know this because we know that some of these frontier corporations actually ask you to stand up DAFs and have a portion of your stock that you're willing to pledge. So this money is going to go to things other than consumption or savings. And so it's going to go into PACs, it's going to go into political movements, and (Democrats) stand to disproportionately benefit. So this has nothing to do with prosperity. This is a very simple political calculus. If you freeze frame the economy the way it is today, a handful of organizations that will disproportionately be able to affect the Democrats will win. They will capture the lion's share of the economic gains, and then they will help the Democrats win power. That's all this is.”

Arteta on the moment he believed it was going to happen: “It's been so many, probably I need a bit more time to reflect on that, and we have so many, so much footage that probably will explain the story of the season. “One of the main ones, it was a meeting that we had here next to the tree when I got all the players together and I told them, look at each other, look at the squad that we built over the summer. I think we are capable of everything and we can be very, very good. “That only depends on us and on our behaviours and everybody understanding the role that it's going to have daily or on the day. to give the best for the team. Once they realised that, I think we went to a different level, because you've seen the impact that everybody's had in different moments of games, through the season, and the capacity that we have shown to adapt to very, very tough circumstances throughout the season.”

*rough trans 🦊: the two of us have very similar dreams. we both feel like we want to do a show or have a concert or something like that. so we’d talk about it like, “oh, if we could have a fan meeting tour in different countries and get to meet fans in various places, that would be amazing, wouldn’t it?” we kept bouncing more ideas off each other until we eventually said, “hey, what if we hold a fan meeting on mars?” 🐯: yes! jan and i love talking about… well, we love talking about work, and we also really want to travel to so many places together. so we would be like, “hey, jan! if we get to do a fan meeting here, we can visit this place, and then we’ll get to go there, and then we’ll do this…” and so on. just thinking about it and manifesting these things together makes us so genuinely happy #JanJingjing

The CEO of Founders Fund-backed Monaco, Sam Blond, says customers want to speak with humans for sales. But for non-customer-facing activities, AI agents are far better. “Whether you're a sales rep or a founder, you will spend your time customer-facing - and we're going to optimize everything in the platform around that experience, including the post follow-up.” “So, you get off the call, we have the call transcript, we've written an email for you to follow up with that person, it's very opinionated and trained on the way that we think about sales and go to market, you can review that email and click send, and then it's time for the next call.” “That’s the sort of optimization that we believe AI is influencing the function of sales right now. It’s - getting more qualified demos, helping you close more customers, and actually emphasizing the relationship-building that happens that is customer-facing.”

Arteta: “We need everything. We need the first of all, we need everybody fit and available. So the ones that are not involved, the ones that are not with us, that are really big, important players, we need them immediately with us because then we're going to be much stronger. “And then, the other ones, they need to stand up me, the first one and embrace this challenge and go for it. So today we have to suffer. It's painful. It's a terrible feeling. But tomorrow is a different day and if somebody would have said to me in August, 'You are in this position right now in April,' I'm sure we would all take it.”

Tomorrow, we publish a new The Edge Podcast with Robinhood GM of Crypto, Johann Kerbrat. This clip might be the clearest articulation I’ve ever heard on why Ethereum's roadmap is working, and why Robinhood chose to build its own L2 using Arbitrum. + Ethereum offers security, with proven decentralization + New L1s = centralized databases + EVM liquidity is essential for tokenized stocks & RWAs + Arbitrum’s tech stack wins on engineering merit No edits. No spin. Just a major U.S. fintech explaining why they’re building the future of finance on Ethereum. Real validation for those of us who are long term Ethereum/ETH investors. Here is the clip and transcript for Johann answering why Robinhood chose to build its own Ethereum L2: "You see a lot of companies right now building their own L1. And for us, we felt excited about this idea where we can control anything that we want to build and we don't have to deal with any other chain to talk to or anything like that. But at the same time, creating the security of a real proper decentralized chain is extremely difficult, as you know. And we basically get that for free with Ethereum. The network has been going on for a very long time now and the security is stable and it's decentralized. And I think that's really the key two points that we wanted to have. When you look at some of these new L1s that are being created, it's not really decentralized and it's not really secure. So at the end of the day, you're basically having like a... fancy database that is probably a bit slower to use than an actual database. And so we didn't really see the value in that. With Ethereum, we get the security by default. The second thing that we get by having an L2 is that you get all this liquidity that is already part of all the EVM compatible chains. And that was also a very important decision factor for us. If we really want to bring the stock market onto the chain, we need to have this liquidity. It's not going to be possible if it's in a closed loop or in a closed chain that nobody can access and you need to have like 20 different hoops before you can bridge to that chain. So for us, that was kind of the two elements that we really wanted to focus on and that's why we decided on building on Ethereum. And then we decided on Arbitrum mostly because we love the technology. There's a few things that we are excited about. For example, Stylus. It's a way that we can basically use different language into the chain and we can build on top of that. We also like the way that they prioritize transactions that is, we think, a better way than some of the competition. And so basically we'll use the Arbitrum stack and we'll create our own L2, which will make us also compatible with all the Arbitrum chains. And so we think it's kind of the best of all the worlds. But for us, the idea is like we will start with public stock, and then we think that we can tokenize anything really, not just stocks. It can be private stock, it can be art, it can be real estate, whatever you want to think of. And so we really wanted to have a platform that is kind of easy to build on and we can keep adding on it. At the same time, we know that regulation are going to be hard on some of these products, especially when it comes to financial products. You always have different regulators. You have different rules depending on the region. If you're in the EU versus the US versus LATAM. And so we felt like we wanted to have our own layer that we could customize for these needs. And then anyone that is building on the chain will also be able to benefit from what we are building, versus just putting everything in a contract that will be just good for the people that are using the Robinhood contracts. But so at this point, we announced the chain in June. We are in private test right now, and then we'll do more announcements in the future." It can be private stock, it can be art, it can be real estate, whatever you want to think of. We are in private test right now, and then we'll do more announcements in the future." 🗣️ Mikel Arteta on working to sign more players: "We are really active, trying to improve and evolve the team. That’s clear. We expect movements in the next few weeks, obviously, because we want to get better like anybody else. "You can see the transfer market and what our opponents are doing. We won’t sit still, and we are very ambitious about what we want to do." 🗣️ On the importance of building a better squad: "The margins are very small, and we want to get better because the level is going to increase. We need to increase the competition internally. "We need to make sure that we are identifying the things that we don’t have in the team so that we can create bigger margins. That’s the way we have to think."

🚨 OBAMA ON AI: "If we are thinking about AI just in terms of how do we cure cancer or get better energy, you can do that without having agentic AI and having it just roaming free in the internet. The reason you are doing that is because you have to market a product that people will pay money for. That’s a misalignment between what our society needs and the commercial imperatives that these companies are facing, not because necessarily they’re trying to do bad things, but because they’ve got to justify these valuations. So, that’s one more reason why it is really important for us to have a competent government and a serious bipartisan conversation around this issue, and we have to do it fast. And I would encourage voters to pay attention to this. If somebody does not have a serious plan for how to deal with this, then they’re not meeting the moment, and you should probably look for somebody else."

Rep Anna Luna says the White House will likely allow permanent immunity for those disclosing knowledge of UFO programs “We do have a meeting set up at the White House. The White House is going to play ball on this. So as Rep Burlison and Burchett has stated they are following through on everything that we are sending them. So the next course of action and something that they are willing to entertain is if you are an intelligence official or have knowledge of locations of materials and in doing our due diligence and following up with the task force they are considering and I do believe that they are going to be providing immunity permanently so that people can't be hit with a violation of the espionage act. So again there's a lot of people that have a lot of information but it's really can we prove it and what information can we then bring forward to the American people.”
