@ZacSpeaksGiant I think you misunderstand what being average means. If the average person can't art then you can't art. You're not just comparing to artists. "People". If NO ONE can invent the cure for cancer then the average of 0 is 0. You aren't either.

@ZacSpeaksGiant Average implies you do things within the average. No one's outright cured cancer so you're gonna get average results which is... Not good. The alien race one is valid, you're doing how the average speaker does. You'd be mostly fluent.

@ZacSpeaksGiant On top of that it also means you are average at improving your skill at something. Meaning yeah it’ll take some time and effort but you can also get better at any skill you need with the benefit of not starting from zero and already being average in all related fields
