Might be a hot take but I don't think ray tracing is always worth it.

Not always, but path traced Cyberpunk is an insane thing to behold.

When done well it can look great, no doubt! AC:Shadows comes to mind as well from what I've seen.

Lukewarm take on my circles. Some of us agree that ray tracing is just a waste of computer power because light doesn’t naturally do that.

Obviously RT isn't always the right choice. The art needs to be made with ray tracing in mind like Doom The Dark Ages.
